She was begging him despite being so strong and bold.
His eyes shot an annoyed glance as he reacted, "Do yourself a favor and get out o...

"Zander, you need to be here or they won't cut their cake and you know that very well, " Aarna insisted through the airpod on my left ear but I just rolled his eyes feeling extremely annoyed.

My hands fisted the handles of the treadmill and with my command, it revved more and more. My legs moved speedily the same as my heart which was wavering for no specific reason yet I knew something was going to happen today.
"Zander?"
Aarna bothered me but there was only silence, it was like she was talking to a stone that wouldn't be budging at her nagging at all.
"You haven't talked to me normally since she left us, do you still think I blame you for it?" She sighed, her breath got heavy due to so many emotions.
"Damn it, you brat, at least talk to me or anyone but please do as bottling that anger will only lead you to ruin. Please, Zander. Stop torturing yourself and just try to find her instead of hating her, she loved you--
"NO, she didn't," I almost growled, slamming shut the treadmill.
She pretends to understand me but sadly she can't.
"Aarna let me get this straight to you, your fuc*king bestfriend is no one in my life neither you are so just mind your business and stop acting like you care for me because you don't, " I sneered, my eyes were bloody with rage as I added more brutally, "My suggestion is for you to keep your cute little family happy and stay far away from me".
I hung up without listening to her crap more and heaved myself onto the couch with my breath still uneven, sweat rolled through my whole body and my heart thumped hastily.
"Hey Amy, Have you picked up the orders?"
I asked my secretary through the call and she said yes.
"Remember to put them in the car before I leave the office".
"Yes, Mr. Walsh".
I hung up and rubbed my forehead realizing how much I suffered while talking to my sister-in-law who is also the best friend of my ex-wife. I truly hate her for making me recall Simran every time I see her so I find it pleasing to ignore her but that woman is so stubborn to continue to interfere in my life whenever she likes.
