Anetté's voice kept repeating inside Kye's mind no matter how hard she tried to ignore it. Well, everyone would find it strange if someone told you to stay away from the toilet, Kye thought, I mean, what's wrong with the toilet? Kye sat on her bed with her face in her hands. She tried to recall everything Anetté had done with her. Still, all she could get from her memory was only Anetté's name, as if Anetté had never existed before in her life and the name was forcefully inserted into her memory. Kye started to realise something was off. She carefully approached the toilet and pushed open the door. Switching on the light, Kye examined the toilet.

It was completely normal, like all ordinary toilets. Anetté's warning seemed to be less scary then. Noir was growling loudly behind Kye as if warning Kye, but Kye just ignored it. As Kye stepped into the toilet, her gaze landed on the big mirror. Before she could even catch what the mirror had reflected. Kye felt an excruciating pain coming from her heart as the mirror shattered into pieces. Kye's face contorted into a painful expression as her body landed on the ground with a loud 'thump'. It felt as if her heart was like the mirror shattering into pieces. Kye's breath grew heavier as a dizzy spell hit her. The tiny bits of mirror spread around Kye, some even landing on her, leaving cuts on her body. Kye was in too much pain to scream. She could hardly keep her eyes open. Before she fainted, she saw a shadow looming over her. Kye thought that was the end of her as she sank into darkness.

"Kye, wake up," Anetté's eerie voice whispered into Kye's ears. Everything felt like the start again. Kye opened her eyes, hoping she had gone back in time and everything she had just experienced was a dream. But no. Anetté was beside her, her mask still on her face. Those grey eyes stared at Kye, though not giving off any emotions. Kye struggled up and realised that she was on her bed.

"How?" Kye croaked.

Anetté did not reply. Instead, she pointed to Kye's body. The cuts on Kye's body were slowly closing up, and the bruises were no longer visible. Kye's eyes widened in surprise. She stared at Anetté, trying to see what her reaction was. However, from Anetté's fake mask, she could not tell anything from the expression. Kye could see Anetté's hands fidgeting nervously but quickly stopped when Kye looked at her.

"So..."Kye and Anetté started simultaneously, but they stopped short when they heard each other. Anetté let out a soft chuckle and gestured for Kye to start. Kye nodded gratefully and spoke," Will you tell Mother and Father?"

Anetté paused for a while before shaking her head sternly. Kye heaved a sigh of relief. She had no reason why. Kye just felt that her parents were not someone to trust. The initial fear Kye had towards Anetté diminished. However, Noir was still in its defensive mode in front of Anetté. Anetté reached out her hand, and Kye took it into hers.

"I will make up an excuse for you," Anetté said," but I need you to make a deal with me..."
