~ Five months later~
It was five months since the vasectomy incident with Miku, and Kaito and Len had become best friends. Len's feelings had grown, and he was now 99.9% sure he was in love with the other boy.
Len sighed, sat at his desk, staring out the window, his head propped up on his hands.
"Off in dreamland again?"
Sitting upright (and knocking a few pens off the desk as he did so), Len was yanked from his thoughts, and found himself staring up into the eyes of Kaito Shion, his best friend.
"I knew it!" Kaito grinned.
"Knew what?!?"
"You have a crush on someone, don't you?"
Len accidentally knocked some more of his school crap off the desk at this, his face heating up already. "What? No I don't!"
Len was too flustered, however, to notice the look of hurt that appeared briefly on Kaito's face, and he hid his face behind his messy hair.
"Come on, tell me who it is!"
"No!" Len had no idea why he'd refused to tell Kaito instead of just denying the crush altogether, because now Kaito knew for sure that Len liked someone.
The blue haired boy kept pestering Len at every chance he got, probably hoping to surprise him into blurting out the answer.
Until one rainy night, that was.
It was late, and Len had been held behind at school by a teacher who'd obviously wanted a lengthy and boring discussion with him about exams and how much pressure they put on teachers as well as students.
Len couldn't care less, however, and was relieved when he could escape.
When he glanced out the window, though, he groaned. He could hardly make out even the shape of the buildings near the school through the horrendous downpour that had thoroughly drenched the school grounds and any anyone unlucky enough to be outdoors.
Len was about to be one of those unlucky bastards outside in the deluge. Without a car. Or even a goddamned umbrella!
As he came to the entrance he hesitated. A familiar blue haired head had come into veiw and Len grinned. He may have just found his way out of the horrendous rain.
