August 5th (Valorant HQ)
Fade POV:
It was 8 in the morning and we were all called for an emergency meeting from Brimstone. When we got into the meeting room everyone sat down in their seats as Brimstone walked in alongside Cypher.
Brimstone: I see everyone is here. So we will get straight to the point. Cypher!
Cypher: Of course! An hour ago I found out that Omega Earth has sent some of their agents.
Neon: What's so special about that? We deal with them on almost a daily basis.
Brimstone: Well, for starters, they aren't in any known location. They have been located in America. Most specifically Detroit.
Jett: What are they doing in Detroit?
Then the screen shows a poster with some sort of event named "Summerslam"
Cypher: From what I could find, they are attending a wrestling event.
Phoenix: Oh sick! I've always been curious to see one!
Brimstone: Not the time Phoenix! Back to the subject. We don't have any clue why they are attending this event.
Jett: Maybe there's radianite in the area!
Cypher: We checked. But there is no sign of radianite in the area.
Neon: So why are they attending it
Cypher: We did conclude that there might be someone attending the event that they have an interest in.
Brimstone: On that note, I'll get to the mission. We will have two of you attend the event and look for that person before they do. If they want to get this done in public then this person must be really important.
Jett: I'll get this done in no time! They won't see me coming!
Brimstone: Sorry to burst your bubble, Jett, but you are not the type that gets stuff done quietly. Plus we already decided who will go on this mission.
Jett grumbles because she wishes to go on an undercover mission
Brimstone: Thank you for understanding. Now where was I? The two that will go are Fade and Deadlock.
Fade: Could you tell me again why do I have to go?
Brimstone: Well Sova is busy with another mission and either way, you are our only person that can go through a crowd without getting detected. So there's your reason. If you don't have any questions then get ready.
I sigh as I get ready and head to the hangar where I'm met with Cypher and Deadlock waiting for me.
Cypher: Ah, good that you are here. Before you two go there is something I must tell you. Fade you will stay in the front row of the ring. Maybe the person is staying very close to the ring and wants a very good view. And Deadlock this is for you.
Then Cypher gave Deadlock a badge.
Deadlock: What's this for?
Cypher: That is an employee badge. You will be disguised as a worker so that no one suspects why a fan is staying so long backstage.
Deadlock: Are you sure I'm not going to get caught?
Cypher: Oh, are doubting my skills? I can assure you no one will notice.
Cypher gives Deadlock a disguise and the badge and then gives me the ticket to the event.
Cypher: Now go! The event starts in a few hours!
