We settle into another abandoned house, the same one that Paige walked into.
I walk out of the shower with my hair wet.
The scratch of my favorite hoodie touches my skin. I walk out of the bathroom and from the corner, I see the edge of Paige's skirt. Where was she going? I followed her up to the roof.
She walked out first then I followed her out. She looked over the edge and slowly started to cry. I walk up to her "Hey what are you doing up here Paige?" I ask her.
"I...I think I want to follow her."
"What...what do you mean?" I ask her
"I want to jump," she says and I walk toward her.
"No Paige don't!"
"But I want to"
"This isn't what Piper would have wanted for you. She would have wanted you to live a long happy life with the memory of how happy she was and how she was a hero in the end."
"She told me that she wanted me to be happy. But she didn't figure out that my life would fall apart after she died. And she is dead. Gone not coming back, it's not like she's just missing. She is dead and I want to be with her. Because she is my sister and I love her."
I walk over to her and pull her away from the edge.
"You can't jump, we need you," I reassured her.
"Ok only because Piper wouldn't have wanted me to die without having a story to go with it." I smile and lead her back inside. Finally, I saved someone. I went to my room and started to cry.
These chapters are a bit shorter but still good. Hopefully, you like them.
