I was on the sidewalk, standing still, trying not to fall over and black out from shock. Where am I?

I looked around again. Everything seemed to be new and old at the same time. I knew this as my neighborhood, but everything looked digital.

My hands looked digital. My breath got caught in my throat. Don't panic. I thought. Think!

If this took place after that game, call your partners.

I reached for my phone, and dialed Gwen's number. I was about to hit send when I stopped. I remembered that she moved somewhere, along with her brother Theo, who was my other partner.

They cut contact with me after a few months, and her number stopped working. I sighed, and put the phone in my pocket.

What else can I do?

I thought, then snapped my fingers. The Weird Guy!

I looked around, made sure no one was there, then yelled "Help, please!"

I waited, looking around. Nothing.

I slapped my hands onto my face, and was about to cry when someone bumped into me. I looked up to see a guy wearing a red shirt and green pants. His brown hair was in curls, and his brown eyes looked at me.

"Can you move?" he asked. "People are using his sidewalk to walk."

Rude.

I stepped back, too deep in the feeling of helplessness to argue. He continued to walk, and turned the corner, disappearing out of view.

I took another step back, and turned, and started to walk the other way. Get a grip. Figure out what's happening.

And don't cry.

I was sitting outside of Holy Donuts when a group of people walked by, and sat on another table. There was two girls and three boys, one of them being the jerk who bumped into me.

"Kai, go get us some donuts." the one in the green jacket said. The red haired guy, who I gather is Kai, went inside.

"Do you think there are people like us?" the jerk asked.

"Like us how?" the girl in the purple shirt asked.

"Like...knowing how everything is actually...fake?"

The boy with black hair looked around for anyone listening, but, luckily, he didn't catch me. I looked away just in time.

"Reeve." the guy said. "Not here."

So, the jerk's name is Reeve, huh? And what did he mean by everything being fake? Fake like how I'm seeing everything?

Wishful thinking.

Still, I continued to listen as they spoke. "Why not Adam? I know that you would want to know the answer."

Adam sighed. "Mira? Can you tell him what I told him fifty times?"

"It's impossible for that Reeve." green jacket girl, or Mira, said. "Weirdy cut us off from the people who connected us to The Hollow."

"I know, but don't you feel that someone here knows?" Reeve said.

"I doubt it Reeve."

They were all quiet for a minute, and then Kai came out of Holy Donuts, holding a box. "Fresh donuts are here!" he exclaimed.

They all took a donut, and started to talk about other stuff.

Looks like I'm not the only one here who thinks everything is fake. I thought.

I need answers. And I know where to get them.

Or, rather, who will give it to me.
