Surprisingly, the Opera Epiclese, on its third floor, had several rooms set aside for VIPs and the like. A Garde, Miss Eliza, assisted you to your room, showed you around, and gave you a set of new, linen clothes. You, with all the excitement and drama, had forgotten that your clothes were nasty and ragged. What would one expect, from living in a literal sewer for several years. Vacher had never given you new clothes unless they were really, really, really, filthy, and started to smell.

You felt like a goddess changing into these new clothes, and even more so when you flopped onto the bed. You had slept on the floor for years, and your muscles were sore and tired. You decided that once you got home, you'd go to physical therapy.

Your mind drifted to the wonderful trial of Miss Navia's, the way you had been rescued by the angels Lumine and Paimon, and meeting your childhood idol in person, in the flesh. Today seemed too good to be true. Perhaps it was. You gave a slight pinch of your arm, and winced when it stung. This wasn't a dream, this was reality! You smiled a little to yourself, happy.

Seeing Neuvillette was really an amazing experience for you. The way he talked, how serious he was, the fact that you got to be up close to him, and walk with him..that was something most attorneys would dream of. And you lived that dream. It made you so elated to see him, and Lady Furina.

Then your thoughts drifted to your fellow hostages and Vacher. You sobbed a little more at the thought of them, not knowing what emotion to feel right now. Of course you weren't sad for Vacher, but your friends wouldn't want your pity. They didn't need it. Perhaps they were tears of joy then. Joy at finally being free, seeing the bright, warm sun in the deep blue sky, with fluffy clouds and a joyous breeze.

You closed your eyes slowly, and in your mind you could see the faces of your mother, father, and little sister. You missed them so much it was unbearable. Your little sister, Jade, must have been heartbroken at your leave. It pained you to see her cry.
But now, after a few short days, you could see them. You could see them, after all this time...the cute, shining smile of your now 10-year-old Jade...

There was a calendar on the wall of that horrible lab, and that Vacher kept track of the date. Whenever the date rolled to one of your family members' birthdays, you quietly sung happy birthday to them, and drew silly little pictures of them on some spare newspapers. You had little artistic talent, and your father's voice rang in your ears whenever you drew: It's the thought that counts, my Y/N!

You were lost in thoughts of your family, and tensed when you heard a knock on your door. "Miss Chevalier? Miss Chevalier? It's me, Neuvillette. I have something for you," Neuvillette's voice came from outside your door. Thankfully, you hadn't changed into your pajamas, and were still in your new clothing. Otherwise that would have been bad to make Neuvillette wait...

"Neuvillette? Hello!" You greeted, opening the door to see him. You smiled, just seeing him could always being your mood up. "And also, just Y/N is fine! It's weird for me to call you Neuvillette, and for you to call me 'Miss Chevalier..'"

"Alright, if you so wish. Here, this is for you," he handed you a letter, decorated with cute drawings of Paimon. "It's from Miss Lumine and Miss Paimon."

"...Lumine and Paimon? Didn't they already leave, though?" You took the letter from him and held it tightly in your hand.

"They came back shortly after you left. They caught me walking around the halls, and asked me to give this letter to you," he explained, his star-shaped pupils not leaving your face.

"Ah, I see. Well, thank you, Neuvillette! I will be sure to read it!" You said, looking into his eyes, your smile coming back on your face.
"You are welcome, Y/N. They also asked me to give you this," You could have sworn his cheeks got just the tiniest bit redder as he handed you a beautiful pink Rainbow Rose. They were your favorite, how did Lumine and Paimon know?
