It had been about 2 and a half weeks since you had come home to your family. Your life was amazing! You had applied for law school (the results weren't out), you had taken up a small part-time job at a local boutique to get some pocket money, and you helped your family with odd jobs and your little sister with homework.

You were so happy that your boss at the boutique often said the customers smiled more, as your smiles were contagious, she said. She then proceeded to give you an extra 70 Mora, as a bonus.

You had sent a letter to Furina, but not to Neuvillette. For him, you found that the words couldn't come out on paper. Something like a writer's block?

Furina had sent you a response yesterday, and you found that it was much easier to reply to her and then to talk to him.
So why not use your resources, right?

To answer your question, yes! I did apply for law school, but the results aren't out yet.  I will send you their response when I get it.

I was actually going to ask you a question. How do you send a letter to someone who you don't know very well? Is there a way to make it not awkward? Please tell me.

I think you should just be natural when talking to this person. You can't be awkward when you're just doing you, right? If you're finding you can't write to them, then just write anything first, so you get the hang of it!

Has the issue with Mr. Tartaglia been solved? I think it was so weird how the Oratrice 'malfunctioned' like that. That isn't normal, right? But Mr. Tartaglia is also part of the Fatui, so it maybe makes sense how he might have been found guilty.

I need your help with something, if you don't mind. Recently, I have been finding I can't write a letter to Neuvillette..could you give me some tips, please?

Anyways, the issue has been resolved slightly.
Monsieur Neuvillette is still reeling at the fact that the Oratrice put out a different answer than him. Mr. Tartaglia is still in prison.
And anyways, the Oratrice did NOT malfunction. As I said, it was all part of the scheme that shall be revealed in time!

About Neuvillette! He's really not a picky man. I'm sure he'll appreciate whatever you write to him.

A few days later, you were holding the letters of Lumine and Furina in your hands, smiling. It was a dimly lit evening, and you were sitting in your room contemplating.
A letter to Neuvillette...

Maybe you didn't have to write a letter to him. Maybe you could just act like you didn't care. But he was so kind to you that that would be very rude. So you just had to suck it up and just write something!

You quickly took a pen and paper out from a cabinet and sat back down on your desk. With a determined huff, you pressed the pen down and wrote 'Dear Neuvillette.'
Wait. Dear? Does 'dear' sound too weird? Okay, how about 'to?' But 'To Neuvillette' sounds too formal! Um, how about just 'Neuvillette?' That definitely sounds too close! Um, okay...

You rushed through all the terms of greeting, your mind racing, until you settled on one you liked. You saved the other paper and took out a new one.
