"I remember that night Scott couldn't wait and had to shoot his shot," I say, laughing and taking a sip of my beer.

"And look, the two of you are getting married real soon," Carly says while picking up some more trash around the fire pit.

After my shower, I got dressed, and my family came over. We all had dinner, and it felt nice, and I missed them so much. Ethan, Stella, and Miles have gotten so big over the past three years that they are almost as tall as me.

After laughing till our stomachs were hurting, we are now sitting out by the firepit, about to roast some marshmallows. Tara is also over to join us for marshmallows, and she set me up with a realtor to meet up with next week to buy a house.

I couldn't help but notice how different she's been acting tonight, being more clingy than normal, and I'm not liking it. Touching my arm every time I laugh or putting her hands on my thighs.

Tara went inside the house to help Ma gather some things, and now I have to use the bathroom. I excuse myself and head towards the bathroom near the kitchen. When I come outside the room, I walk towards the kitchen, and I hear Ma and Tara arguing in the kitchen. I decided at that moment to just stand on the side and listen to what was going on.

"There's nothing you can do about it, Lisa... I drugged him that night, and he will be mine like he was always supposed to be, but that whore had to come along." She screams at Ma. That's when I decided I had heard enough, and I yelled.

"TARA!" I yelled, making both of them jump. They both stand there and look my way.

"Ch-Chris, what are you doing here?"Tara says, backing up from Ma and walking towards me.

"What's going on?" I asked because I didn't hear the whole story.

"Well, Chris I was going to the garage and overheard Tara on the phone talking about her plan. TrapChris.." Ma says, huffing and placing her hands on her hips.

"Your what?" I am now confused.

"Chris, sweetie Tara drugged you the night of her party three years ago," Ma says, walking towards me.

It's an hour later, and I'm sitting on the couch with a glass of whiskey in my hand.

Ma, Scott, and Steve are sitting near me and waiting for me to say something.

I'm shocked and angry. My body is going through so many different emotions right now. I hated myself for doing what I did to Lana.

After Ma told me what Tara was talking about over the phone and her plan to seduce me into her plan and marry me and use me, that was all I needed to hear, and I kicked Tara out.

It turns out Tara had this master plan in the works for a long time, which is the main reason why Lana is out of my life now.

Tara ends up admitting what she's done, how she drugged me the night of her party, and how she brainwashed me into kicking Lana out, claiming "She is in the way and will only slow you down, Chris ". I don't even remember that night; all I remember is not wanting anything to do with Lana, and Tara was behind it all. I never even let Lana talk or hear her side and just walked out of her life, and when I saw her in the park earlier, I regretted it so much right now. I need to make things right.

After kicking her out, I was filled with so much rage that I needed to take a walk around the block to calm my nerves while my sisters left. After walking, I came inside, walked towards the kitchen above the fridge, and grabbed the bottle of whiskey while Scott grabbed some glasses and I threw a glass back.
