Noelle scolds herself for her reckless decision. Asta Gauche and Noelle watch as the entity begins to contort and screech.
Suddenly a giant mirror appears behind them and the snowy air slowly is replaced by what Gauche remembered to be the mirror world. The ground they stood on began to look like glass as shards began to jut out of the ground, making a crystal like world of reflections.
GAUCHE (shocked)
"The cursed mirror! But how?"
NOELLE(realizing)
"young blood... DAMNIT! It was my young blood!"
Grey's body twists and contorts, morphing into monstrous forms that exude dark energy and menace. The entity harnesses this newfound power, commanding transformed monstrosities to attack Asta and his friends relentlessly.
GAUCHE
"FULL REFLECTION!"
The mirror user reflects several refrains into one point, creating a magnifying laser. This pierces through the glass shattering the creature into pieces. However something strange happened, the shards melted into liquid and formed back into one creature. It pursued Gauche who was left shocked at the unprecedented counter.
ASTA(lunging)
"I got you Gauche Senpai!"
Quick as a bullet, Asta pierces through the creature dispelling it instantly.
NOELLE
"These things... their changing elements!"
The entity slams their hands to the crystal lining of the glass cave, causing the ground to become like an ocean. The plane became wavy and moved in spontaneous jumps. Asta takes flight to avoid the turning battlefield and begins to cut down the creatures that were launched at him one by one.
Asta, finally getting close enough, greets the entity with his blade.
ASTA
"GIVE US BACK OUR FRIEND!"
Rather than the entity, Asta slashes his sword into an abrupt piece of land. The anti-mage gritted his teeth find that the entity managed to evade his attack by using mirror magic to refract the land upward to meet his sword. In the corner of his eye, the entity summons an array of mirrors with cracks along their glass frames. Each cracked piece in the mirrors reflected different areas of the cave.
ENTITY
"Consume..."
The cave begin to jut out pieces of glass, the ceiling began moving in lopsided directions, suddenly pieces of snowy mountains appeared in the cave, long story short.
It was chaos.
GAUCHE(flying on his broom)
"Not good. We got to get out of here!"
ASTA
"easier said then done!"
Asta tries to maneuver through the sudden elements that protrude throughout the area, suddenly a mirror appears in front of him causing him to evade elsewhere. When he regained his sense of position he realized that he was flying upward with the entity waiting for him above. They smile with great malice as they break a mountain rock into varying sizes, falling down with great speed.
Asta knew that he couldn't dispel these attacks since the rocks were physical objects but at the speed he was going there was no chance to evade. He braced for the impact of the rocks, hoping that the fall down would be a steadier ride.
