Third POV

Twenty years later

After Falk's death Deadlive was a wreck. Shaddix and Amy took her in so she wouldn't do anything stupid and to help her take care of the twins: Atilla and Helena.Deadlive pulled herself together by taking care of her kids.Attila is just a normal Moon-Deadwolf and Helena is a Moon-Deadwolf but with a scythe tattoo on her arm which means she has been assigned a role by Nature, one she didn't accept so well once her mother told her and then Deadlive told her story. That you truly never accept a role that expects you to kill someone. Helena would be known as 'the Grim Reaper' or in the Supernatural world as the 'Grim wolf' taking the lives of people and Supernatural beings that need to go, beings like Benjamin who's been alive for too long.

Deadlive found happiness by being a mother and she was finally happy with her life. She has beautiful children that learned to deal with their power in the correct way and were not a danger to themselves or others, she built back up her pack and let us say that it's one of the biggest packs with female werewolves, she changed the laws of the Supernatural world so that everything is fair and so that Hell can't intervene in the normal world, Hades has been killed by Deadlive and Hell has been taken over by Helena. Now no one gets stuck in the pit anymore but their souls are stuck there and there's no way of getting out. But she will forever feel the pain of losing her soulmate.

Amy and Shaddix eventually had three other kids after Camden that will bring some problems when Shaddix decides that one of his children is going to be Alpha. Of course Luna came when she heard about her grandchildren but they didn't even let her get close let alone meet them. The only grandchild she did meet was Helena, she saw her right before she died and after that Helena ended Callum's life but only because he was driving her mom crazy. Whenever he was around she'd relive what happened with Falk and Helena didn't want to see her mother suffer like that. Attila has not been given a role by Nature but that doesn't make him less important, he is helping his mother rule the pack while she is handling Supernatural problems. He is also the one that makes benefitting deals for the pack.

More and more women have decided to go after the role of being a Béta and even Alpha. The men have started to hate it but most of them have started to accept it 'cause overall with women leading a lot of Wolves have migrated to Varcolac which means that it must be men that were the problem all along.

Deadlive POV

I stare satisfied at the happy families walking around on my territory. I have worked my ass off to be here even died a couple of times and also lost a lot of things...people.. And I'm proud of myself for not giving up after all that I've been through and that I secured a happy future for my children, even though Helena is the Grim wolf she has learned how to live with the role just like I have with the role of being the center of the Supernatural and Goddess of Deadwolves. Even though they didn't have a father they were still and still are happy kids. Attila unfortunately will not be staying with me forever considering that he is a real Moon-Deadwolf and will die young. He's already experiencing heart problems and he's getting exhausted quickly so I'm afraid of what time I have left with him but we can't keep thinking about that.

"It's going to be strange", Helena says then. "Not having my brother around anymore, just the two of us". Helena is having a hard time with the fact that she'll have to end Attila's time here but if she would kill him or not he still would die because of what he is. "You're still going to see him in the Underworld and he'll move on to the next life", I tell her. Helena prefers that I call Hell the Underworld now because no one gets tortured anymore. "Before you were given the role of guiding people towards peace, people just died just like Shaddix died out of nothing. There was no one to reassure you that there's an afterlife or no pain just darkness. Your brother is going to pass peacefully with his sister by his side and you should be proud of yourself that you're there for the people". She has tears in her eyes but she blinks them away.

"The role you got assigned when you were just a baby is hard Helena, I know that and that's why I tried to prepare you so well but nothing will ever prepare you to kill someone you love, trust me", I tell her putting my hand on her shoulder. "Are you talking about dad", she asks then and I get a lump in my throat. I never really talked to them about Falk, it just hurts too much. Every single day I have to carry the pain of that day but I shared my memories of everything that happened since I met him when they were old enough to understand and they didn't ask any questions. "Well yeah..I didn't kill your dad your uncle Shaddix did that for me because I couldn't", I tell her. "But you will Helena, your brother needs you there because it will also be hard on him".

"I admire you mom", she says then. "After everything you lost and have been through you made the best of your life and raised your kids with so much love". I smile and embrace her.
