Chapter 6

As they entered the venue, everyone turned to look at them. Everyone gasped as they saw the famous Ross with a girl on his arm

Selene noticed this and whispered to Ross,

"Why are they staring at us?" 

"Because you are looking so beautiful," said Ross trying to tease Selene

"I'm not in the mood for a joke!" said Selene

"It's because I never showed up here with anyone except my fiance," said Ross

"Fiance? You mean the girl you and Lucas were talking about?" asked Selene 

"Yes, Her" replied Ross

"Oh Yeah!! Then why didn't you bring her?" asked Selene

"She's too annoying and obsessive. Total opposite of considerate and sensible" replied Ross

"Then why are you with her?" asked Selene

"Political reasons" replied Ross

They both stood in a corner while Selene kept asking him questions and Ross kept replying to her until someone came and asked for some of Ross' time and he left Selene, telling her to be careful

As Selene stood there, someone approached her,

"Are you the one who came with my darling husband?!" said the girl but got ignored by Selene who was busy sipping wine

"I am talking to you! Excuse me!!" said the girl again

"Oh! You are talking to me?" asked Selene

"Yes, you ungrateful brat!" said the girl

Selene looked at her and realized. she was the blonde girl that Selene was warned about. Ross' crazy, obsessive fiance

"What action did I do to catch your attention, Miss?" asked Selene politely

"You come here with my fiance and you still have the nerve to ask what you did?!" said  the girl finally losing her patience

"Oh, so you are Ross' fiance. He surely didn't think twice huh... But yeah, you are really beautiful" said Selene complimenting her

"Of course! Unlike you, I am loyal to my man!" said the girl

"What do you mean?" asked Selene puzzled

"Well since you came here with someone else's man, you surely are someone who would do anything to get a man's attention haha!" she said

"Excuse me? Mind your language, Miss. Just because I'm listening doesn't mean you'll say anything" said Selene with anger but in a calm down

"Why are you getting angry? That's the truth! God knows how many men you must have slept with!" said the girl kept talking and insulting Selene and suddenly, Selene snapped and grabbed her neck as she lifted her and said,

"Watch that tongue of yours, Bitch" 

"Hey! Hey! Leave me! I can't breathe!" said the girl as Selene choked her

"Apologize," said Selene with most murderous eyes

"WHAT?! Do you even know who I am?" said the girl

"Apologize. Or. Die" said Selene

"Fine! Fine! I'm sorry! Now put me down" said the girl as Selene dropped her on the ground

"What's going on here?" asked Ross as the girl started bawling like a baby

"Darling! Look what she did to me!" said the girl but got ignored and Ross went to Selene to check on her 

"Are you okay?" asked Ross

"Oh? Did you just ignore your beloved fiance?" said Selene smirking

"I never even liked her. Besides, I'm calling this marriage off" says Ross as he announces the cancellation of his marriage with his fiance

"What did you say?! Are you out of your mind?!" she said

"Well, Gracy Thompson, I'm calling off this marriage," said Ross he took Selene's hand and marched towards the exit

"Took you long enough to tell her name huh," said Selene

"Doesn't matter now... But I'm surprised at how handled the situation" said Ross

"Huh? Oh that- I'll tell you when we get home" said Selene 

"She surely can be Dangerous," Ross thought to himself
