After a tiring day of work, Taehyung came back home and went straight for a shower. He hadn't gone to see Yn today and had no idea if Jungkook did. Nor did he want to.
Remembering her face and the way she had answered him, 'It's none of your concern' he for sure had known that she knew something had happened. That was the only reason why she had answered that way.
Does she really not remember hyung? Or even Jungkook? Or anyone from Hanyang?
Or is she just pretending?
The thought provoked something in him. Some thoughts which if said out loud could create too much unnecessary trouble. Something which made him furious to the point that he was ready to go to any extent to find the reason behind his brother's death.
Yn? Really Yn? Could she really kill him?
The first time he saw her, her eyes were full of life. The smile she gave Jungkook the other day burned something in him but her eyes also mirrored the comfort and ease which she had felt with Jungkook but soon had turned into discomfort as her gaze met Taehyung.
A person might forget a person but the bond always stays the same.
Or does it?
Taehyung knew he had to make her trust him somehow and had to help her have her memory back. But how was he going to do that without hurting her? He had promised Jungkook that he wouldn't.
But this thought didn't matter to him that much.
He ignored the thought and focused again on brainstorming and slept through the night.
Looking at Yn's face made him mentally and emotionally tired and he got reminded of his hyung again and again. And even if he knew that it was just a possibility, he still believed that Yn was the one behind Jin's death and he was not going to leave her alone till he found the answer he seeked for all those years.
After all, he had searched for her for years.

"Taehyung!"
A voice called him as he looked back and saw Jennie.
She was in love with him and he knew that. They both had known each other since high school and had known Jin as well. She was the only one who had stuck with him through his toughest times other than Jungkook and Jimin.
Taehyung looked up and gave her a small smile which turned back into a poker face in a fraction of seconds as she strode towards him.
"Jennie."
He nodded, acknowledging her presence. She gave him a nice hug which was more than just a hug to her but Taehyung? It was just a friendly gesture.
Taehyung respected her feelings but couldn't return back. He had always seen her only as a friend. Sometimes he felt bad but couldn't do anything about it. On the other hand, he was too numb or just simply busy to feel something for someone.
"How have you been?" She asked him.
"Well he's the same poker faced bastard as he always was." Jimin just shrugged with a teasing smile and kept his cool but secretly his eyes always brightened up when he saw Jennie.
Taehyung shook his head in defeat while Jennie laughed at his quirky remark.
"It's been a while Jennie." Jungkook said while she gave him a hug as well after getting off Jimin.
"You look good." The short guy complimented her and she laughed. "Well yeah. Harvard is surely paying off." She winked. Jimin felt the warmth rush his cheeks as a smile broke his lips. Taehyung and Jungkook never failed to notice the reaction Jimin gave to every action of Jennie which she was too blind to notice.
"So how is everything going on?" She asked and all 4 of them took their seats on the couches in Taehyung's office.
"Everything's great. We've recently opened a branch of our company in Busan as well. So I and Jimin were there for a while." Junkook replied.
"That's great! And what about Jin? Did you find something?"
A silence spread. A silence which made their smile disappear. A silence which made them question if they should tell her about the situation. About Yn. "We found Yn recently." Taehyung said, breaking off the silence.
Everyone looked at him.
"T-that's- " Jennie trailed off. "Great. Did you guys talk to her?" "We did. Her brother recently started working here so we got to know about her from him. Apparently he had lost her memory about– well you know what so I don't really find a point digging further." Jimin spoke and the silence just spread further.
"I- wow. Sometimes fate is a bitch isn't it?" Jennie blurred in disbelief. "So are you going to let this keep going on or are you going to investigate further?" She asked Taehyung who was quiet the whole time.
"Should I?" he questioned back as he looked at Jennie and then at Jungkook who was quite as well. "Of course you should. Why is this even a question? Weren't you the once who was determined to find the answers that he started a whole damn company just to have enough power to find that girl? Why are you questioning this now?"
She was right. Why was he questioning now? Because he knew he would hurt her at some point doing so? Or because hurting her would hurt his best friend as well? Yes. That is exactly why. He fed this to himself.
He was looking at Jungkook the whole time. Waiting for him to say something as well.
"You should. And you are going to for Jin hyung's sake" And there it was. The answer he was looking for.
And now he for sure knew he was not going to back off.
