If Daniel would have asked her that, she would straight have said no to his face and would have gone away. But here she was going to tell an almost stranger about something she thought of talking about.

But the efforts were not only one sided. She wanted him to talk as well. He seemed like a person who kept too much to himself. When he said he couldn't sleep, she knew something was wrong because of the way he kept looking at the sky, lost. Like it had kept something too valuable.

She knew this feeling very well. That was something they definitely had in common.

"I had a dream yesterday. And I got too stressed because of it. I had the same dream today as well. So I woke up and came here for a walk. I didn't want to sleep again." He looked at her and questioned himself if he should ask her what she dreamed about.

But thought of doing that in a bit.

"And you brother let you come?" "No. He was sleeping when I came." "What if he wakes up and finds you gone? He'll freak out." "He's a heavy sleeper. He won't wake up till the morning." He nodded.

"What did you dream about?"

"Eyes."

"Two eyes filled with terror. Looking at me as they went away and I couldn't save them." "Eyes of who?" She wanted to tell him about her best friend. But it was still too soon. "I don't know." She looked down. "I have no memories of the person." She looked down and closed her eyes. She didn't want to cry. Not again.

"Well enough about me. Tell me why can't you sleep."

He wanted to ask more. But she changed the topic so he knew that he didn't want to talk about it any further. But decided to tell her bits. Just as she had.

"I was thinking about someone." She nodded.

"Is she your ex-girlfriend?" The idea of him having a girlfriend bothered him a bit but she didn't bother digging deep into the thought.

"What? No." A breathe of relief left her. "I see." "Why would you think that?" "You looked lost looking at the sky. And... and sad. So I just thought-" She looked at him embarrassed. He smiled a little and didn't try to hide it for the first time in years.

"And thought that I have a girlfriend."

"Well yeah something like that. I'm sorry." "Don't be." She smiled.

"You know, when I was little, someone very special told me when a person passes away, they become stars in the sky and stay with us forever."

Flashback–

"Don't be sad Yn." That person smiled. "Look up." She looked up at the sky full of stars. "You those two stars?" He pointed at two of the stars. "Which one, Jin? There are a million of them there." She asked him, getting a bit annoyed. He chuckled.

"The first two stars you see. One of them is your dad and one of them is your mom. They might not be here at this moment but they're here with you forever." She laughed. "You believe that? I'm not a kid, Jin. Stop messing around."

He looked at her with love in his eyes. "At least I made you laugh."

A memory stricked her. Those were the same eyes as the boy in the dream. 'Is that Jin?' She looked at Taehyung.

"Funny. I just remembered someone telling me the same thing." He looked at her back being serious. "What do you mean you just remembered?" 'Is her memory coming back?' Taehyung thought.

"Just so. It's a good coincidence isn't it?" "Maybe it is." He looked back at the sky.

Sometimes things are better untold. The silence between them spoke a lot.

"Do you remember?" "What?" "The face of the boy in your dream?" "No." "No?" Suddenly Taehyung felt himself being angry. "No. I don't remember his face. Whenever I think about it, I just remember his eyes. How much fear they had. How sad they looked. Whenever I close my eyes, they are there but never the face."

"Why not the face." It was not a question for her. It was a frustrated statement to himself which he gave.

"I don't know." She whispered.

He closed his eyes and breathed deep, trying to calm himself down. He couldn't shout at her even if he wanted to badly.

"Why can't you remember the face?" He asked more seriously. "I don't know." She looked at him but saw him already looking at her with anger and tears in his eyes.

It was again the first time he was showing his frustrated, shattered side to someone. She felt guilt rushing as he saw his eyes. Helplessness.

"I can't be here one more second."

He wore his shoes and went away before he or she could say anything else. And she just looked at him not understanding what got him so worked up that he straight up went away.

Did she say anything she shouldn't have?

She couldn't be there anymore. She just wore her shoes and went home as well. Daniel was still sleeping when she checked so she straight up slept. And this time she didn't dream.

Neither those eyes nor the boy, she just didn't dream but kept thinking of the beautiful eyes which had looked at her a while ago.
