Riddles?

A crowd formed around the five of us when they heard that we were from wonderland. I had backed up until I was beside Lizzie, and she held my hand for comfort.

I must've zoned out, only catching bits of the conversation between them about the Storybook of Legends being a book of rhymes and that some kids thought I was too weird to be related to Lizzie

I zoned back I when Lizzie pulled me to a stadium that held some students in it. She sat me beside a blond that had a gold crown and a bright grin.

He held out his hand to me. "Daring Charming, son of Prince Charming." He smiled, and his teeth shined in the sunlight, making me squint a bit.

I shook his hand with a small smile. "[M/N] Hearts, son of the Queen of Hearts." I saw his smile falter a bit before smiling at a girl that sat beside him.

I rolled my eyes slightly and looked down at where my sister's friends were.

I felt a sudden weight in my hands and looked down at the Book of Rhymes.

I turned a page and read it.

"In a field so colorful, blooming and flowerful, with strength and might, a force so powerful?"

I felt a surge of energy in my body, making me gasp a bit before grinning.

I passed the book to a girl beside me and glanced at Daring on my left, making him flinch a bit and hide his face.

"Daring," I started with a smirk. "Can I borrow one of your mirrors?"

Hr handed it to me quickly, still hiding behind his arms. I held the mirror to face the Apple down below, and she turned, smiling at her reflection.

The judge walked by Duchess with an eye roll and gagged a bit before his eyes landed on Holly's desert.

"What have we here?" He wiggled his hands a bit before dipping his finger in the desert and licked it. "These tower tea cakes are out of this kingdom!"

The crowd applauded Holly as she smiled at the compliment. Duchess rolled her eyes in jealousy.

"Oh! I think I'm next." You can hear the excitement in Raven's voice as she kept her eyes on the judge.

A towel fell on the floor, in front of her, making her eyes trail it.

"Oops! Would you be a doll and get that?" She smiled 'sweetly' at Raven. "I am such a butterfinger!"

Raven nodded and bent down to take up the cloth, giving Apple enough time to sprinkle some pepper on her refreshment.

Raven gave Apple the cloth, and she smiled again. "Thanks, Raven. You're the best."

Unfortunately, Raven didn't catch the wicked smirk on Apple's face as she walked away.

"Wicked Watermelon pops! It's just the refreshing thing i need after tasting all these treats!" He took one of the pops as Raven smiled, waiting in anticipation.

"That is good!" He chewed the watermelon with a smile. "Juicy... sweet... actually hot..."

Smoke blew out of his ears as he started fanning his mouth and running away, shouting 'hot'. Poor Raven was left confused.

"But there wasn't anything spicy in there, at all." Raven's eyes met Apple's as she spoke up.

"Oh, that's a shame." Apple spoke with sarcasm and a smile as she rolled her eyes, landing them on the pepper shaker beside her.

Raven gasped in shock. "Apple..it can't be."

"Better luck next time." Apple walked off with a smug look.

Holly walked up to a stand by Raven. "Raven, what happened?"

"You're not going to believe this, but I think Apple just cheated." Raven was still in disbelief.

[M/N] walked by some bushes, the flowers dying as he passed by them, grinning at their wilted forms.

Apple walked up beside him, matching his pave with Daring lagging behind.

Apple looked over at [M/N] with a small smirk, [M/N] doing the same.

The three of them walked into the halls of Ever After and stopped at a locker to talk about some things.

"What wicked thing should we do?" [M/N] tapped his finger on his chin in wonder before a group of students ran up.

"Daring! Oh, I'm so glad we found you!" A pink haired girl talked. "There's a totally vicious dragon attacking people at Book End! You have to slay it!"

Daring exclaimed in shock. "Oh my crone! Thanks for the warning!" He opened the locker that was between Apple and [M/N].

[M/N] looked at Daring with amusement as he looked shaken up for a 'daring' prince.

"If anybody needs me, I'll be in here until it's safe!" Daring jumped into the locker, shutting it behind him.

Holly and Raven walked up in front of us.

"Oh goody. It's Raven Mean and Holly O'Square." Apple sassed as she stared them down, locking the locker when Daring poked out.

They both gasped offended while glaring at Apple. "You did cheat, didn't you! At the showdown!" Raven pointed an accusing finger at Apple.

"Maybe I did. So what?" Apple smirked smugly at them while I stood beside her. "Like anyone is going to believe you two over me?"

"[M/N]?! Where were you? Lizzie has been looking for you." Holly stepped towards me, but I held up my right hand in front of her.

I stared at them silently, not wanting to talk. Thankfully, Apple butted in.

I zoned out the conversation for a few before speaking up. "Let's go." I walked off, Apple walking next to me.

"I've just got the most wicked idea..." Apple turned and smirked at me with a dangerous glint in her eye, and I immediately gave her my own.

"Wait for me!" Daring ran up to the other side of me.

"Oh, what fun."
