Apple pushed Daring to a stand under the window.
"Why should I stand right here?" Daring chuckled nervously as the both of us looked at him. "Is-is something bad going to happen?" He looked around in panic.
"Oh my god..." I groaned quietly to myself and watched Apple talk to him.
"Hero up, Daring! All I need you to do is stay here and wait for my signal!" She pushed him around a bit and pointed to the ground to emphasize her point. "Can you handle that?!" She pointed at Daring before walking off.
A squirrel chattered at the tree near me, and Daring yelped, terrified. He held out his two hands in front of his face. "Have mercy!"
"Daring, I need you to toughen up before I have to knock the word of wonder down your throat." I lightly threatened him, hearing him gulp before standing a bit more straight.
I looked around a bit before sitting on a random railing, waiting for Apple's signal.
"Hey, [M/N]?" Daring called out shakily.
I looked up at him a bit irritated. "What?"
I saw him jump a bit before clearing his throat. "Thanks."
I tilted my head, a bit confused at his apology. "Why?" I got up and walked closer to him, staring (up/down) at his face.
He audibly gulped before answering. "For dealing with....me."
I raised an eyebrow at him, and he began to ramble.
"Y-you know, for-" He was cut off by Apple shouting.
I side stepped and watched as Apple landed in the brush, helping her up to her feet.
Apple groaned and glared at Daring. "You were supposed to catch me!"
She started walking away as Daring stared at her in slight fear.
I walked up behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist, placing my head on his shoulder. "Don't worry double doors. She's got anger issues."
Before Daring could reply, I pushed him forward so he could walk.
We walked for a few minutes in silence before Daring started up, causing Apple's frown to deepen.
"So, um.. I'm kinda scared to ask, but," He pushed his two pointer fingers together. "What's this big plan of yours?"
Apple's eyes grew wide in mischief at the question. "The well!"
"Well, what?" Daring asked, confused.
"The Well of Wonder, Daring." I tapped Daring on his head as I walked a bit ahead.
"I heard that Maddie say that Lizzie had the only map to it!" She rolled her eyes like it's easy to steal a map to the Well. "So, I stole it from Lizzie's room!" She took out the map and opened it.
I peered into the map, my head between Apple's and Daring's as the three of us looked at it.
"Everyone knows that the magic, the wonder, the life of our world comes from Wonderland through that well." She educated Daring as we walked down the path.
Daring stubbed his toe on a stone and hopped a bit, making Apple and I stop to look at him.
"I, I stubbed my little toe." He looked down at his feet in sadness.
"Anyway....you, you, and I?" She pointed at the both of us. "We're going to plug up that well for good."
"But that will.." Daring gasped in realization. "Destroy the fairytale world!"
Apple smirked at him. "Wow, you catch on fast....not...Now come on!" She started pulling Daring, and I followed behind the two.
Apple followed the path in the book, Daring glancing around nervously and running to a stand beside Apple when I made a black rose with sharp teeth pop out from a bush, making me laugh a bit.
"Scardey cat!" I pointed at Daring while cackling a bit at his embarrassed face.
~~~Timeskip~~~
Apple smiled hopefully at the map. "According to the map, it's right..." She looked around in annoyance before groaning at the empty space. "This Wonderland stuff is so annoying!"
She went off to ramble about the book, but I only paid attention to the plot of land as I started growing black roses, making three flower crown out of them and placing them in each of our heads.
Apple finally turned around and saw the well. "Perfect." She rubbed her hands together with a wicked smile.
"So, um.." Daring started off nervously, making Apple stare at him with a raised brow. "I don't have to do anything dangerous, do I?"
"Nope," I started off, patting his head a bit. "Since you've turned into Coward Charming, Apple brought some help."
"Ashlynn, Hunter!" Apple called to the cliff above the well.
"Time to get our evil on!"
