Summary: Just a small, fluffy one-shot. Mainly inspired by that one scene from the Bluey episode "Relax".
Enjoy.

It was a rainy day. The team had decided to take the day off just to relax. But for some, rest and relaxation simply just didn't come to them naturally.

There he was, sitting on a banche outside the Tortuga all by himself, protected by roof material, contemplating the droplets of rain bucketing down on the region.

It was beautiful. Yet, he couldn't bring himself to relax, he just couldn't. He was having an incredibly hard time getting his mind off of creature adventuring, not even for one day.

Letting out a heavy sigh, Chris stood up and made his way into the ship. As he entered the control room, he noticed how everyone was so calm and peaceful; Jimmy in his hammock chillaxing as usual, Aviva reading a book on a floor cushion not far from the ginger guy himself, and Koki enjoying a freshly brewed cup of tea in her radar chair. They all seemed to be having a great time, only making him feel worse about himself.

'Why is it so easy for them?'

Just then, a familiar face walked up to him. "Hey, bro," he heard his brother's cheerful voice.

Looking up, he found him smiling warmly at him, but the blue Kratt's expression quickly shifted when he noticed the frown on his face.

"Hey, what's wrong?" His eyes were filled with genuine concern.

"I-..." Chris hesitated. "I don't know how to relax." He stared into the void with empty, sad eyes.

"Aw, come here," Martin gently leaned in and gave him a warm hug; the embrace always had a positive effect.

"It's harder than it looks," Chris finally said, resting his cheek on his brother's shoulder.

"Maybe I can help with that," Martin looked deep into his eyes, wearing one of those confident smiles of his. "Just go back outside, I'll meet you there."

As curious as he was, Chris trusted his brother enough to not question what he was up to and simply rolled with it. So as he said, he went straight back outside, where it was still raining as hard as before, nothing had changed, yet he found himself sitting in that exact same spot from before.

Not a few minutes had passed before he heard footsteps, turning to find his brother showing up with a mug in one hand, and a blanket in the other. Next thing he knew, he was given the mug, finding it was full of warm tea before Martin draped the fabric around his shoulders while sitting next to him. He was so moved by the gesture he couldn't speak.

At last, Martin gestured for him to take a sip from the drink. The warm sensation of the ceramic to his fingers was all but soothing. He brought the mug closer to his face as he blew the steam away before gulping down some of that warm liquid, sighing in delight as he looked up at the rainy spectacle; the sound of water pouring down on leaves and plants and trees, the fresh smell of wet dirt, the cool breeze washing over his face. He felt it all.

"Just go about it, dude," he suddenly heard his brother say with a soft voice, closing his eyes and filling his lungs with fresh air as a response.

It was then that he felt an arm wrap around his shoulders. He opened his eyes to find a smile of satisfaction on his brother's face, unable to resist returning the smile himself.

"Thanks, bro," he whispered, wrapping half of the blanket around Martin's form and pulling him into the warm, cozy fabric.

The younger Kratt snuggled deep into his brother's embrace, the mug still in his hands. He felt calm and relaxed. He felt secured. He felt at peace. All thanks to the one who's always there for him when he needed him.

Now, everybody was truly having a good day off.
