When the day of Jungkook and Namjoon's trial arrives, the entire family goes to the courthouse to support them. Both men have met with their attorneys and have put everything that they own under Taehyung's and Jin's names.
As the judges enter the courtroom, everyone stands and respectfully waits for the judge to be seated. Once the judge is seated, the trial begins. The trial is quick because Namjoon and Jungkook both plead guilty. The judge looks at the sentencing request from the prosecutor and grants it.
They all breathe a sigh of relief when the prosecutor's charges are accepted by the court. When Jungkook and Namjoon are handcuffed, they both look over at Jin and Taehyung and softly smile at them.
"In three years, they can parole out," Taehyung whispers in relief as he smiles at Jungkook.
"Yongbok will be in college by then." Jin mumbles and looks at Yongbok who is trying to not cry.
"Yuri must be exhausted. Yesterday was his exam, and today was this." Taehyung sighs and looks over at Yuri who is resting his head on Jimin's shoulder.
"I am just grateful for Prosecutor Nam. Because of her, everything is going smoothly." Jin hums and stands up.
"Let's go get something to eat," Yoongi tells everyone as he helps Yunki stand up.
Their lunch is quiet as the others try to think of something to say to Taehyung, Jin, and Yongbok. After a few minutes of silence, Yongbok begins sniffling as his tears drop into his bulgogi bibimbap.
"It's okay, Yongie. You can visit him this weekend." Taehyung softly tells the crying teenager.
"What about you? He can only have one visitor a week." Yongbok quietly sniffles as Taehyung comforts him.
"I can always visit him next weekend." Taehyung gently pats Yongbok's back as he hugs him.
"I heard that Jeon Jaejoon got a fifteen-year sentence," Hoseok tells them and shows them the news article.
"That's it?" Taehyung asks in disbelief.
"He told the prosecutor handling his case a bunch of stuff about Choi Junho to get his sentence shortened," Hoseok explains while Taehyung reads the article.
"Fifteen years is not enough after what he has done to Jungkook hyung, Yongie, and Namjoon hyung," Taehyung growls with his fists clenched.
"I agree." Yoongi sighs and looks at his food.
"I want to become a detective as well." Yongbok quietly mumbles as he looks at Yoongi and Jin.
"We definitely need more good detectives." Jin softly smiles and pats the top of Yongbok's head.
"We'll work together!" Yuri shouts in excitement which causes everyone to smile.
"Apply to the Seoul Central Office once you finish your training. We will see what we can do." Yoongi grins and looks at the two excited teenagers.
Once the weekend comes, Taehyung drives Yongbok to the prison to visit Jungkook. As he watches Yongbok walk into the prison, he quietly cries. Because he is finally alone for a moment, Taehyung quietly cries in peace. He did not want to cry in front of the others because he did not want them to worry about him.
When Yongbok walks into the visitation room, he smiles. Jungkook smiles when he sees Yongbok and stands up to hug him.
"How are you? How is your summer break going?" Jungkook asks once they sit down.
"My summer break has been fun so far. Hyunjin has been coming over a lot." Yongbok beams as he talks to Jungkook.
"That's good."
