When Jimin wipes his eyes and looks at Yoongi, he is shocked to see Yoongi looking at him. "Hyung!" Jimin gasps and stands up then leans over Yoongi to see if he really is awake.
"I will call Dr. Jung!" Yuri shouts and quickly fumbles with his phone.
As Yoongi looks at Jimin, he sees a trail of tears on Jimin's soft face. A tear trickles down Yoongi's face when he sees how exhausted Jimin is.
"Hyung, what is wrong?" Jimin asks and quickly wipes Yoongi's tear away. "Are you in pain?"
Yoongi slowly shakes his head from side to side in response and continues to look into Jimin's beautiful eyes.
"He's awake!" Taehyung gasps and stares at Yoongi with food in his hands.
Hoseok quickly runs into the room pushing Taehyung aside. When he reaches Yoongi's bed, he examines Yoongi and then pulls the intubation tube out. Jimin softly cries out in relief when he sees Yoongi breathing on his own.
"Lieutenant Min, do you recognize him?" Hoseok asks as he points to Jimin.
"Jimin." Yoongi hoarsely whispers with a soft smile.
"What about him?" Hoseok points to a very excited Yuri.
"Brat." Yoongi chuckles which brings a big smile to Yuri's face.
"Ahjussi! You're okay!" Yuri wails and carefully hugs Yoongi.
As Yuri hugs him, Yoongi looks at the man at the door and wonders who he is.
"He's Kim Taehyung. He's my friend and coworker. He is also Detective Kim's little brother and Jeon Jungkook's boyfriend." Jimin tells Yoongi while Taehyung blushes and clutches the food in his hands.
"Jungkook and Namjoon ... are they safe?" Yoongi asks in surprise and looks at Taehyung.
"They are both safe. My brother has been helping them." Taehyung answers and walks into the room.
"I knew hiring him was good." Yoongi hums and continues to look at Taehyung as he tries to figure out where he has seen him before. As Yoongi looks at Taehyung, his eyes widen when he remembers where he has seen Taehyung before. You were that disgusting man's boyfriend. I remember you now. You are almost unrecognizable now.
"We've met before." Taehyung mumbles and nervously fidgets.
"Yes." Yoongi hums and softly looks at Taehyung.
"Thank you for helping Hyung put him in jail." Taehyung bows to Yoongi in thanks.
"I am grateful that your brother contacted me," Yoongi mutters as he looks at Taehyung. "It is relieving to see you healthy."
"Thank you for the lilies that you left in my hospital room. They were really pretty." Taehyung quietly mumbles.
"I am glad that they helped." Yoongi hums and smiles at Taehyung.
Jimin softly smiles as he watches the interaction because he knows that Yoongi is always protecting people in need.
As Jungkook and Namjoon go through the files in Yoongi's home office, Jungkook opens a file and stares at the picture of the victim in shock. His blood boils in anger when he sees Taehyung's bloody and almost unrecognizable face.
"Who did this to you?" Jungkook whispers in horror and stares at the picture.
"Jungkook, do not read the file. Let him tell you when he is ready to tell you." Namjoon softly tells Jungkook and shuts the file.
"Does this mean that Lieutenant Min saved him?" Jungkook asks as tears form in his eyes.
"There is a high chance of that," Namjoon answers and sets Taehyung's file away.
