(At the Coliseum: No One's POV)
(Y/N), Jade, and Kitana were searching for Skarlet as they haven't seen her in the area. Jade and Kitana were wearing new attires with their hair tied and no masks.
Kitana: Tell me, (Y/N).
(Y/N): Hm?
Kitana: Why is it that you want to save Skarlet? After everything she's done.
(Y/N): Well, I believe in second chances. I can tell who can or can't be saved. Like Shao Kahn who can't be saved from his wicked path. He doesn't even want to be saved.
Jade: Then what about others who can be saved, but don't want to be?
(Y/N): That won't stop me. There were others who didn't want to be saved, but they got saved anyway and were grateful for it.
They both couldn't help but fall for him more. How hopeful he is for others and how wise he can be.
Jade: Kitana...
Kitana: Yes, Jade?
Jade: I'm... I'm sorry...
Kitana: For what?
Jade: For everything... I fell for (Y/N) and... I...
Kitana: It's okay, Jade. If (Y/N) forgives you, then I forgive you too. And I also don't mind sharing him with you.
Jade: R-Really, Kitana?
Kitana: Yes. He gave us both a second chance, so I'm also giving you one.
Jade: Thank you, Kitana. (Y/N) saved us from our blind loyalty, someday, I hope we can do the same.
Kitana: I hope so too, Jade, but it'll be difficult.
(Y/N) was focused on saving Skarlet as they were talking, so he didn't hear their conversation.
He looks over a corner and sees Skarlet being escorted by Tarkatans.
(Y/N): -Found her!-
Kitana and Jade heard him, so they ran up to where he was and saw what (Y/N) saw.
They looked at each other and they nodded, seeming to have a plan.
They snuck up behind the Tarkatans and knocked them out in their own way.
(Y/N): Skarlet, we came to save you.
Skarlet: I don't need saving.
She punched (Y/N) in the stomach and uppecutted him. Kitana and Jade ran to her to attack her, but Skarlet blocked their kicks and punches, then caught them and knocked them down, as sparks flew.
They groaned in pain.
Kitana: Looks like Skarlet doesn't want to be saved...
(Y/N): No...
He got up slowly.
(Y/N): That's not Skarlet...
Skarlet: You know me so well~
She morphed into Rin in his Psycho Ranger form.
Psycho Ranger (Rin): I knew you'd come for her. So we set this up.
(Y/N): "We?"
They heard a door open on their right, seeing Sheeva walking towards them. Then the second one on the other side, seeing someone who appears to be new as he's in all black. Literally. Except for the eyes.
