3rd pov:
The Antarctic was a cold and dangerous place, with harsh temperatures and the antarctic empire living just around the corner. the penguins were ordinary guys who hung out, eating fish, swimming and doing regular things.
That peace stopped when a portal opened up. the portal caused a warmth to flow into the Arctic, however, the snow was blowing into the portal as well.
after a few seconds of silence, the penguins started squawking and sliding away. except one. this penguin was different, in both the physical and emotional sense. this penguin was curious, and smarter. it would study risks and rewards.
that's why, it decided to jump in.
