HAILEY POV

It was 8:03 am. I had arrived at school really early. I bumped into Jake while walking to school and now we're both here, together making conversations, when suddenly, a brown haired boy runs up to me and Jake, holding some cylinder glass jar with colorful paper cranes in them.

"H-Hi there! Hailey, right?" The boy asked me. "Uhh.. Yeah.. Need anything?" The boy looked at me and gestured his arms in front of me. "You're the music club president, right? Here, can you take this and give it to Milly, pleeaase?" I took the jar and looked at him with an uncertain expression. "It's alright if she rejects it" He starts talking again, "I just wanna see how she feels about me, so... You can give it back to me if she doesn't want it.."
The boy genuinely seemed really nice, but I knew that Milly only took interest in Elliot, but I decided to take the jar and see if the boy had a shot.

"I'll meet up with you later and tell you what happened, okay?" I smiled at the boy. "Jeez.. Thanks! I'll need to repay you sometime!" And with that, the boy disappeared. 

"Woow, Milly with a fanboy, I wonder if you have one aswell~" Jake smirked at me. "Oh, shut up!" I reply flustered, but slightly laughing.
I check the time, 8:19 am. Both me and Jake decided to make our way to the clubroom, since there was literally nothing else to do.

Coincidentally, Everyone was already there- except me and Jake, that is.
I looked around and it seemed like Milly was angry about something. The expression on her face says it all, including everyone else's response to her expression.

"What's going on? There seems to be a gloomy aura revolving around here.." Jake breaks the awkward silence.
"It's.. nothing." Milly responded in an angry tone.

"Uhh.. Anywaaay, Milly, I have something for you" I break the second awkward silence.
"What?" She responded. I hand her the jar while slightly smiling. "Uhh.. here. Some dude came up to me and told me to give this to you." 
Milly was physically unresponsive, Instead, she just gave me some kind of weird stare. Did I say something wrong?
"Who gave this to you?" Milly asked, still looking at me weirdly.
"Some brown haired guy-" Before I could continue listing the guy's appearance, Milly grabbed the glass jar out of my hands and yanked it in the trash.

"MILLY!-" Both me and Jake jumped in response to what she had just did.
"What?" She responds back.
"What do you think you're doing!" I sharply ask.
"You said it's for me, I don't want it, so I'm throwing it away."
"But you just- You dumped it in the trash!"
"If you want it so badly then take it back, easy."

The bell rings and everyone except me and Jake leave the room. It seemed that either Luke or Sean had drank coffee earlier, because there were coffee cups in the trash, which had coffee staining the jar.
I reach out to grab it, but Jake immediately grabs it first.
