A Night of Frenzied Affairs

*With the Lord of Frenzied Flame*

Lord: I wonder how Shabriri is doing. My most devoted worshipper. I'll ask Ruby if she's heard about him before. If she knows me well then she should know about him already. *looks at the sky to see the sun going down* I guess I should go get her now.

*With Ruby in their dorm*

Yang: Hey Rubes?

Ruby: Yeah?

Yang: Aren't you supposed to be going on a date tonight or something?

Ruby: Y-Yeah, w-why?

Yang: What're you gonna wear? Surely you're not just wearing your regular clothes.

Ruby: What's wrong with what I have on? I doubt he's gonna want to do something fancy. I think he still needs to learn about our era in more detail. At least that's what I think anyway.

Yang: Weiss come on! You've gotta help me dress up Ruby!

Weiss: Why do I have to help?!

Yang: Because Blake is busy!

*Doorbell rings*

Ruby: I'll get it!

Ruby opens the door as sees her lord standing at the door.

Lord: Are you ready Ruby?

Ruby: U-Uh..Uhm...

Yang: She still needs to get dressed!

Lord: There's no need for anything special. What she has on will do splendid. *turns around* Lets go Ruby. *walks away*

Ruby: *Gives Yang a smug look and jogs off after him* Told ya!

Ruby catches up with them as they engage in conversation.

Ruby: *arms behind her back* So, did you have anything planned.

Lord: First I'd like you to accompany me to the library you spoke of. I'm hoping to find some interesting reads there. *Ruby nods* Of course there's also something I wanted to ask you.

Ruby: What is it?

Lord: Have you ever heard of a man named Shabriri?

Ruby: Mhm! The books say you met him after you inherited the frenzied flame.

Lord: *Smiles* Well you're almost right. Shabriri was actually the man that looked after me after my caretaker, the previous lord of frenzied flame was murdered. Shabriri was also a devoted believer in the frenzied flame. He even knew how to use a single, but powerful incantation that utilizes the frenzied flame as well. He was a man I looked up to. He helped me take down the man that ruled our area of remnant at the time as well. Sadly he disappeared afterwards. I never knew what came of him afterwards.

Ruby: He also created Shabriri grapes as well right? I want to try one!

Lord: *Smiles and laughs* No you don't!

Ruby: *pouts* Why not?!

Lord: Because they are made of eyeballs that have been cursed by the frenzied flame.

Ruby: *disgusted face* Eugh! I take it back!

Lord: *laughs and takes her hand in his* Lets get away from Ozpin's prying eyes.

The lord of frenzied flame teleports away with ruby to the library in a flash of orange, red, and yellow.

*at the library*

Lord: Okay here's the plan, we split up. Grab any book that helps with knowledge on the era. If you think you'll have to many to carry grab a cart now.

Ruby: Got it! You'll be caught up with the times in no time my lord!
