" Camila, are you okay?" Reina asked, placing her hands on my shoulder, retrieving me from my reverie.

" Yeah. Sorry. What were you saying?"

"Nothing really. You seem lost."

" I'm just thinking of my mother." I said, a soft sigh leaving my lips as I placed the dirty plates in the sink.

"Camila, take care of table sixteen for me please." Chad said, as he handed me the tray that had been ordered.

I took it from him and walked outside of the busy kitchen to table sixteen. A young dashing woman in her early thirties or something,  sat there scrolling through her phone. I placed the black latte order on the table but accidentally, she bumped onto me as she moved forward making the latte to spill all over her dress.

" What is wrong with you! Can't you pay attention to what your doing!" She boomed, standing from her seat.

" I am so sorry ma'am. I didn't mean to." I pleaded, taking a towel and tried to wipe of the latte from her dress.

" Get your filthy hands off me. You are making it worse. Do you know how much this designer dress cost? Huh? It can pay off your salary and also the cheap clothes you are wearing. You filthy cheap brat!" She continued and pushed me hard making me fall on the floor.

" I'm so sorry ma'am. We will work on that. I'm very very sorry." Madam Claudia said, helping me  stand and walked over to the woman as I walked back to the kitchen, my head buried to the ground.

I could sense that all eyes were on me and some people were whispering and murmuring as they looked on. I felt like shit. I really wished the whole world would open up and swallow me whole.

"Stop!" Someone said behind me as a pair of rough hands intertwined with mine. The whole hotel became silent all at once. I stopped on my tracks but did not turn around.

The hand holding mine pushed me back until I turned fully and faced the person.

I only had one word to describe him with, PERFECT.

He had clear, beautiful black eyes and a sharp jawline. His brown hair fell over his shoulders in a kinda cute way. He had studs on his ears, which were glowing under the restaurant's light. A part of a flame tattoo was visible on his upper arm, which was covered by the white T-shirt he was wearing.....

Before I could explore more, he dragged me towards the woman who I had spilled latte on earlier.

" Good. You've even come with the manager himself." She said confidently and stood up from her sit. The man pushed me to his side.

I swear, if looks could kill, this woman would have been dead by now.

" You need to apologize." He said in a deep accent. I turned my head from the lady and stared straight at his face in shock.

"Apologize? You should fire her." The woman said, crossing her hands across her chest a smirk on her face.

Does she really know that this guy ain't the manager?

" Not her. You." He pointed out.

Wait, what?
