A few days had passed since his mother had gone back into the earth, and the young god was not able to move on from his mother's leave. However, he knew deep down that his mother would want him to take his time mourning her, but to be able to live his life little by little.
So that is what he did.
He spent his days growing all kinds of plant life in the memory of his mother. Like his mother before him, he could create mountains and split the earth. He could make the plants grow and wither away. He could also control the winds, water and fire as well, but his primary domain was the earth.
He wanted the world to be beautiful for his mother to wake up to when she came back from her slumber.
