To get there, George insisted we rent a mini bus, he said "we're f1 drivers, we have to be dramatic" I didn't feel like arguing, so i agreed and after a LOT of convincing from George everyone else agreed.
Me and Lily were in charge of the music because we said if we weren't aloud to play Taylor swift we weren't coming, i don't care if it was "petty" because it worked.
*about an hour into the drive we had all moved around, i had gone from being at the front with lily to at the back with Danny, Max, Oscar and Lando*
"why is it so dark?" i said, the sun was completely gone, the sky wasn't black, it was more of a dark blue/ grey-ish. i didnt know what time it was, all i knew was that i was tired
"Eli that's because we left like, right when the sun was setting"
"Oscar, you don't have to talk to me like i'm a child" i said in a sassy tone, folding my arms over my chest and turning away from him. Before i could say or do anything else he placed his hand under my chin and turn'd my head so i was looking at him again.
"then don't act like one" he smiled, clearly proud of himself. i felt my face heat up and my heart began to beat faster.
"ill act like one if i damn want to, Piastri" he smiled at me, almost as if he was impressed at my quick response. he open'd his mouth to say something before he was cut off by Lando.
"will you two stop flirting" he said crossing his arms.
"i.. we were not!"
"yeah, yeah you weren't flirting suree"
"MAX DO NOT ENCOURAGE HIM!"
"im not encouraging him, im being honest"
"whatever" i say rolling my eyes "i'm gonna take a nap" i said before getting as comfortable as i could, i closed my eyes and almost immediately fell asleep.
*about 4 hours later*
i woke up to find out i'd fallen asleep on Oscar, he was on his phone scrolling on insta.
"hey" he said as i lifted my head off his shoulder
"what time is it?" i said in almost a whisper
"almost 2am, everyone else is asleep but we're going to have to wake them up in like 15 minuets because were almost there" he said still scrolling through insta when he came across a post from lando.
