"SO I HAVE HERE YOU WERE TRANSFERRED?" The Captain questioned Thalia infront of the desk not bothering to sit.
"Yes ma'am" Thalia replied politely staring ahead so she didn't make eye contact.
"Because they wanted to give you a fresh change of scenery?" They made eye contact this time after the Captain read the file and Thalia nodded.
"My old partner was fired for attempted rape and my brother is an inmate over here so it was practical" Thalia explained looking elsewhere once again.
"I'm sorry and I'll make sure this doesn't happen in my precinct. Let me introduce you to your team" Captain stood to walk around her desk and open the door for me.
"Mikami! Vasquez!" A dark haired woman's head shot around when her name was called and began to walk over.
Thalia's breath caught in her throat when she laid her eyes on the handsome stranger who she'd spent the night with.
"Vasquez this is your new partner Detective Thalia Wilkins. She will be apart of this team from here on out" Despite, the Captain introducing them, Thalia's eyes were set on the grinning Lieutenant.
"Welcome to the team" Jared stuck his hand out for her to shake when the Captain left, which she hesitantly took, her mind flashed back to the memories of the night before.
His hips snapping into her own.
"Glad to have someone else to annoy Jared with me" Drea joked laughing at the annoyed expression on Jared's face.
"Glad to be able to get the chance to annoy him" Thalia matched her energy straight away causing Drea to laugh and Jared to sigh.
"You're my partner not hers. Now come on" He gestured towards his desk where she reluctantly followed him and sat opposite him.
"Lieutenant huh? Didn't think to tell me last night?" Thalia's teasing gaze met his own from across the desk after reading the desk label.
"Didn't think to tell me you were a detective? I could've admitted to doing any sort of crime" Jared leaned forward his arms resting on the desk.
"That's the way I catch most my inmates" She winked at him gesturing that she had done it multiple times.
"You're gonna get me in so much trouble" Jared spins around on his chair tilting hood head back and closing his eyes with a smile.
"Only the good kind" She stood up to go to her own desk where the Captain had shown her earlier on.
Jared watched her walk away her hips swaying in a way that turned him on even if it wasn't meant to be seductive.

"What's up with you and Vasquez I saw you at his desk earlier?" Drea mentioned to Thalia who was sorting through some small cases that were placed on her desk.
"Nothing just annoying him like you said" Thalia wasn't really fully lying to the woman she was just bending the truth slightly.
"That's my girl. I like you already" Drea left the blonde to finish sorting her files patting her on the back when she passes.
The blonde detective felt eyes burning into her back so when she turned around she spotted Jared staring straight at her.
"Enjoying the view are we?" She teased him walking straight passed him down a separate hallway to place her solved cases in the filing cabinet.
Following her down the hallway he leaned against the wall to talk to her while she was unlocking the drawers.
"Prefer it if you were in that dress from last night" He lowered his voice looking around to notice the desolate corridor before reaching out and giving Thalia's ass a light squeeze in his hand.
"Oh and you know what else?" Thalia watched his every move as he reached into his pocket pulling out the red lace panties she'd worn last night.
She gasped at the sight going to snatch them away from him but he just shoved them back in his pocket.
"You kept them?!" The blonde whisper shouted at her on night stand her jaw slack.
"Course I did they were my souvenir" Then he was gone again leaving the woman breathless.
"What have I gotten myself into?" She took a deep breath resting her head on the cold metal before closing the drawer and locking it.

"Didn't I see you in here already. I don't know about eleven hours ago?" Jared approached a middle aged woman sat patiently waiting for him.
"Which is when I saw you come on shift" Her eyes drift off to Thalia stood off to the side minding her own business.
"Figured by now, Detective Mikami'd be gone, but you wouldn't" She made it pretty clear she wanted to speak to Jared.
"You came here to see me?" Jared caught eyes with his partner when looking over his shoulder before looking back at Sarah.
"I know it looks crazy. I've talked to alot of people about my mom, so I've gotten used to being brushed off or treated like a crazy person" Jared nodded along to whatever the brunette was saying.
"But the way you looked at me was different. Like you might care what I have to say" She finished off looking him straight in the eyes attempting to plead with him.
"I have a few minutes" Jared pointed to the seats beside them so they could sit down and go through the case.

Detective Rodgers approached Thalia while she was sat at her desk doing something on her mobile phone.
"Welcome to the precinct Detective" He sat down on her desk placing a cup of tea infront of her as a welcoming.
"Oh I'm sorry I don't drink tea" She apologised politely but even she could recognise the flirty tone he'd used with her.
"Ahh that's my bad. So what is a girl like you doing when you get off work?" Rodgers fiddled with the mug in his wrinkled hands.
"I'm going home why wanna join me?" Those choice of words only made an appearance cause she spotted Vasquez staring at them.
"I wouldn't be against it" The man was way too eager it would've been like having sex with a virgin.
"Yeah I can tell" Thalia laughed to herself and Rodgers took it as a sign that she was flirting with him.
"How about we head off early then?" He offered nodding to the door that leads to the exit.
"How about no" Jared steps in glaring at the detective who didn't question it scurrying away after stumbling off the desk.
"Seriously?!" He crossed his arms over his chest looking down on the amusement written all over Thalia's face.
"Oh come on it was funny" Basically telling him to lighten up she rises to her feet putting her coat on.
"He was ready to come home with you" Jared says as if he was utterly shocked even with his own words.
"You telling me you haven't slept with anyone in this precinct before?" She leans against the desk propping her hip out.
"Thought so" She patted his chest with her hand letting it drag down his body before leaving the room.
