A Sweet Girl No More

Mom married again two months earlier,
Sprunged up actually.
He used to be sweet,
I thought he could replace dad.

Turns out,
He sees us as, a charity case
And mom, can't see that.
Love,
It does blind us. Really do.
Almost done with high school
But,
College seems far away.
I might get a job
And run away when I am done in two months.

Yeah,
I seem like a coward
But,
My peace of mind is at stake.
I feel a piece of me dissappear
Soon,
I may not be a sweet girl anymore.
