Awkward Encounters Always Happen To Me

After the backstage meet and greet was over, we all hung out playing games, telling a lot of cheesy jokes and watching half of High School Musical 2 because Toby kept pausing it to get more skittles and Connor kept trying to get Riley to sing Troy and Gabriella's parts with him which did not work out well.

Perri had texted me when it was time for us to finally go back to the hotel. "Well guys I guess that's our queue to leave. We'll see yous later." Kyia says, waving bye to the boys and dragging me out. As we were reaching Perri and the car Riley ran out and stopped us. "Skia, can I talk to you for a minute? It won't take up much of your time." He asked nervously, "Sure, what's up?" And I looked behind me when I heard someone beep the horn, "Hurry up, I'm hungry." Damn this girl and the fact I love her. "Would you maybe like to go to the cinemas with me tomorrow?" He said, rubbing the back of his neck.
Just as I was about to answer two arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me into their body. "Babe what's taking so long?" He mumbled in my ear, emphasising the 'babe' then looked, well glared, at Riley before putting out his hand and saying "Hi, I'm Perri, Lilli's boyfriend" Again putting emphasis on 'boyfriend'. Dear Lord Jesus what did I do to deserve this moment, nothing, the answer is nothing. And yet again Riley looked at me, his brown eyes flashed with an emotion I couldn't completely figure out because it was gone as soon as it came. "Oh I didn't know this, well I'll see you later Lilli. Call me, you have my number." Where his last words before he ran off in the direction of the tour bus.

Trust me when I you that the ride home was not only silent and awkward but you could literally cut the tension with a knife in here (<-- see what I did? 5sos.. no..okay) and Kyia could definitely tell that something was up.
