Episode one: Pilot (Part 2)
"Do we have to go?" Theo groans in annoyance.
"The answer is the same as it was the last ten times you asked." Relia says absentmindedly while searching for the shirt Caroline told her to wear. She's wearing a bra and high rise jeans and has her hair pulled into a curled ponytail. Theo walks up behind her and wraps his arms around her. He rests his head on her shoulder. The skin to skin contact makes her shiver as she leans into his touch.
"Why can't we just stay in? Have a movie night? I'll cuddle with you." he kisses the juncture between her neck and shoulders.
"Mmm, tempting offer but Caroline will kill me then you if i'm not there and I don't know about you but I don't think cuddles are worth dying for. Do you?"
"I'll have you know, my cuddles are, in fact, to die for." he says before kissing the spot behind her ear, knowing how much she loves it when he does that.
"Theo..." she says in warning. She turns in his arms to face him, placing her hands on his chest to smooth out his shirt once she does.
"What?" He asks, looking at her innocently.
"I promised Caroline I'd go."
"So, why do I have to go again?" Theo tries to get out of going.
"You want me around all those drunk hormonal boys by myself." Aurelia asks, challengingly but she knows she's won the argument.
"Good point." he immediately responds and pulls her body closer to his, tightening his grip before pressing his lips to hers in a passionate kiss. Aurelia parts her lips allowing his tongue to slip inside. Her head tilts to the side as he slides his left hand up her body stopping at the side of her neck. His grip on her is gentle but firm. Their kiss continues for what seems like hours before ultimately getting interrupted by the ringing of Aurelia's phone. He groans, reluctantly pulling away. Aurelia walks out of his embrace, both feeling cold from the absence of each other's warmth. He watches as she walks away admiring her.
"Who is it?" Theo asks after he pulls himself from his daze.
"Caroline." Aurelia responds before accepting the call.
"Of course it is." Theo says, defeated. Aurelia giggles.
"Where the hell are you?" Caroline asks.
"I'll be there in twenty minutes. I promise."
"Are you even dressed?"
"Half dressed!" Theo responds in the background.
"Okay, one, eww. And two, get your asses here asap!" Caroline responds as Theo and Aurelia snicker.

Tyler, Aurelia and Theo watch from across the party as Elena and Stefan converse. Theo turns to Tyler.
"Ten bucks they're dating by the end of next week." Theo bets.
"You're so on." Tyler accepts and shakes his hand before he dismisses himself to find Vicky.
Aurelia frowns, feeling unsettled.
"What's wrong, dove?" Theo asks concerned as he turns to give her his full attention.
"Just feels like something is gonna happen tonight." Aurelia answers, "I don't know. Maybe I'm just being paranoid." Aurelia stresses.
"Paranoid or not, nothing is going to harm you. I won't let anything hurt you." Theo tries to reassure her.
"I know. It's not me I'm worried about." Aurelia admits.
"Caroline." Theo figures out the reasoning for her worries.
"Mmhmm. She's just so determined to get involved with Stefan and now, knowing he's a vampire, I just can't help but feel scared something is going to happen to her." Aurelia explains.
"I doubt Stefan will harm her." Theo says, trying to make her feel better.
"What about his brother?" Relia asks, scared for the answer.
"I can't say for sure since I've only heard stories about the brothers." Theo admits being unable to provide reassurance which kills him because he hates to see her so scared.
"Are more people going to die?" she questions.
"Probably." He puts it bluntly.
"Should we intervene?" she suggests.
"Absolutely not. We should stay out of it for as long as we can while protecting the people we care about." He says in a tone that leaves no room for argument.

Caroline runs up to them. She has a smile on her face but you can tell she's trying to put on a brave face for her sister's sake.
"Oh no. Who do I have to kill?" Theo asks, only half serious. Caroline gives him a small smile in reply.
"No one. It's just the usual." Caroline replies.
"And what's that?" Aurelia asks, concerned.
"I'm never enough and Elena always is." Caroline states.
"Don't compare yourself. For the right person you will be enough, I promise. And if Stefan can't see that then he's not the one." Aurelia tells her
"Then who is?" Caroline asks, desperately. Tears are pooling in her eyes but she won't let them fall.
"I don't know but someday someone will come along and sweep you off your feet and treat you the way you deserve to be treated." Aurelia replies, hugging her. Caroline leans into the hug before pulling away after a couple minutes go by.
"Caroline, I promise you there are better men out there than Stefan Salvatore and you deserve better." Theo tells her.
"Wow, Theo, I think that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me." Caroline jokes feeling a little better from their words.
"Yeah, don't get used to it." Theo remarks. Caroline and Aurelia laugh at his determination to act like he doesn't care knowing deep down he's really a softy. Only for them though.
"SOMEONE HELP!" They hear someone suddenly scream. Aurelia and Caroline immediately run to see what is happening. Theo is close behind them. When Jeremy comes into view holding a bleeding and unconscious Vicky, Theo pulls Aurelia behind him blocking her view. However, not one to be pushed around, she menuvers her way from behind his back to see what happened. She covers her mouth in shock and horror.
"Bonnie, call an ambulance!" Matt tells her.
"Everybody back up! Give her some space!" Tyler herds the crowd back.
"Her neck. Something bit her. She's losing a lot of blood." Elena says.
Aurelia looks at the wound on Vicky's neck before sharing a look with her boyfriend. A vampire did this. Theo gently pulls Relia to his side and wraps his arm around her shoulders as she wraps her arms around his waist not looking away from Vicky.
