Alix's P.O.V

It's has been a while since Rengoku-san's death...and I still didn't get over it, it's not like we were close or anything, but it still had a big impact. I heard that Tanjiro told Rengoku-san's family the news and it didn't end well. . .
It's completely understandable. Plus..I feel pity for them, no one should go through the loss of a son and a brother...

I was lost in my thoughts when realized I've enetered the village already. I was looking around to see if someone needed help with something, when i suddenly heard two people yelling.

It was day so surely no one was kn dancer but I quickly rushed to the source of it and I saw a boy around my age arguing with a lady...

X: "I already told you! I won't pay for cold food!"

?: "Well if maybe you wouldn't have made me wait 20 minutes outside in the snow, your food would still be warm!"

As the two argued, i went between them, trying to stop them from yelling at each others some more.

I start talking with the lady and I managed to calm her down..somehow.. I then turn around to talk with the boy, but I saw him already walking away and so I quickly ran up to him.

Alix: "Hey! Wait a second!"

?: "What do you need."

Alix: "That woman, she didn't pay you for the food! So please, let me pay for her!"

?: "What-? No no! There's no need for that, keep your money to yourself."

Alix: "Of course I need to do that! here!"

I quickly took some loose changes and slam them on his hand..

Alix: "Please take it! I know it's not much! But it's what I have now so take it!"

?: "I-I really can't accept them.. Plus if someone should have to pay me for the food it's that lady."

Alix: "I'll be paying for her so it's fine! You worked hard so you need to get payed! Take it!"

I see him chuckling at my words, before taking out a was of 15 thousand yen and give them to me...
I was very surprised and confused and quickly shook my head 'no' snd held my arms in a way so that they'll be forming an 'X'..

Alix: "W-wait! I cannot accept! I need to work for these money! I cannot take advantage of you! Please put the money away!"

?: "Aww come on, giving you this money wont change my life, plus, think of it as my graciousness! Please?"

He said, forcing the money on my hands..

I sighed and took the money.

Alix: "Fine fine...if you..insist..thank you a lot..umh?"

Hex: "Oh the name's Hex by the way, what's yours?"

He says, giving me his hand..

My face lightens up and my lips turn into a smile that could lighten anyone around me as I quickly took and shook his hand..maybe too tightly..
