RING RING
My phone rang loudly.
I answered it without seeing who it was.
"Hello?" I grumbled half asleep.
"Taliah your brothers and I want you back home. We've given you enough space and time away from us. It's time to come back." Roman's voice demanded.
"No, Roman. You don't decide when I come back I do goodbye." I explained then hung up.
I let out a sigh as I felt a painful weight on my chest.
I had been ignoring River for the past three days. When he strikes up a conversation I turn him away quickly. If I see him walking towards me I walk away. He looks at me I busy myself with something else
I was nervous because of the almost kiss that had happened that night.
Why is he only liked me as a friend? Or worse as a sister.
I'd be devastated.
I sighed and got up to go out and take a walk.
I dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt since it was only 50 degrees outside.
I slipped on my air force and started my walk.
I walked for about an hour until I reached the bridge where I thought I'd end my life.
I'm glad I didn't.
I would have missed out on the best thing that ever happened to me.
I would have never met any of my friends.
I would have been gone.
I sat there on that bridge and just thought about what could have been.
What would have happened if Mom didn't leave my real dad?
What would have happened if my brothers never told me about their mafia?
What would have happened if I dared to kiss River without a second thought?
I got my phone and turned on Bruckner - Stille Betrachtung an einem.
This was such a beautiful song.
I sat there and replayed it about three times.
Sooner or later I realized I was there for two hours just thinking and listening to music.
I started my long walk back while listening to random music that played after the one I was listening to.
I walked inside Rivers gate and walked to the front door and went in that way.
I took my shoes off and placed them on the shelves next to the door.
