The Quarterfinals begin

After Caulifla had won her match against the disgusting unhygienic Bacterian, she advanced to the 2nd round in her fight.

Goku: Man, that was awesome Caulifla! I bet Master Roshi was impressed by the way you were fighting!

Caulifla: Thanks, speaking of which...where is he? I don't see him in the audience.

Goku: Hm? Me neither.

Caulifla: Hey Krillin! Do you know where Master Roshi is?

Krillin: Huh? No, I haven't seen him since you guys went to get ready for the finals and he just disappeared.

Goku: Disappeared?

Caulifla: Hmm, something about this doesn't seem right. If he's not participating in the tournament, why isn't he watching us like he said he would?

Goku: I don't know, maybe he got lost at the bathroom maybe. I can smell him out?

Caulifla: Eh, it's fine I'm sure he'll turn up soon. Let's get out the ring Goku.

The exited the arena as the 2nd match of the Quarterfinals was starting, Jackie Chun vs Yamcha. Jackie Chun was still up to his pervy tricks just like the old man Master Roshi eyeing on Ranfan who had been putting on lipstick.

Jackie Chun: Excuse miss, may I ask what the lipstick is for?

Ranfan: Hmm, let's say it's for men like you.

Jackie Chun: Oh well my name is Jackie Chun, whaddya say we grab some coffee together?

Ranfan: No thanks.

Jackie Chun: Huh?

Ranfan: My attention is focused on someone else right now.

Ranfan said looking over at Nam who seemed to have been focused in his meditation.

Jackie Chun: Hm? Hmmm...hmmm.

Jackie Chun suddenly realized what was going on, at least what he thought thinking that Ranfan actually fell for a guy like Nam.

Jackie Chun: Heh! Hey Sonny, I think the girl over there like ya!

Jackie said to him but Nam didn't pay him no mind at all as he kept meditating, focused on himself and remembering his family in his village on how they would all suffer from the intense heat in their land that not even the crops and vegetables would store up fresh water. He entered the tournament in purpose of buying water for them to survive on with the 500,00 Zeni he would achieve if he won the tournament.

Goku: Good luck Yamcha!

Caulifla: Send that old man flying!

Jackie Chun: That was a good idea holding your breath against someone like Bacterian with such a horrid body odor.
