Chapter Two: Love Attack

Scarlett loved long walks especially when it's with Billy and Stu. They would take walks around the school as a normal routine. Scarlett needed to take her mind off of things. She walks between Billy and Stu who won't leave her side. 

Stu grabs Scarletts waist tightly pulling her to his side. She laughed as Billy grabbed her hand and spun her around. Her laugh makes their smiles widen. For a moment Scarlett almost forgot about the bad stuff that was happening. 

Scarlett doesn't let go of Billys hand as they walk next to each other Stus hand was still wrapped around her waist. "The jokes we were making over there weren't right We were acting like Casey and Steve weren't just killed last night" Scarlett said watching as three girls walked out of their classrooms. 

Billy and Stu look at each other for a moment. "Scar maybe that's the way people cope maybe they just try to forget."  Stu says looking away from Billy and down at Scarlett. She shakes her head.

"I just feel like we were being inconsiderate you know like their dead their lives have been taken away from them and people are walking around laughing at the jokes being made." Scarlett says she squeezes Billys hand tightly. 

It takes her a moment to realize that she was holding his hand and she pulls it away. Billy looks at her confused before turning towards her stopping her and Stu in their tracks.

 "Listen Scar we weren't thinking like that but I completely agree we were being inconsiderate." Scarlett shakes her head slightly before turning away. 

The bell rings signaling lunch was over. "Hey if you want me to take you home, I'd be happy to." Billy said moving her face making her look at him she shakes her head for a moment. 

"No, I need to keep my grades up. but we can hang out after all three of us?" She posed it more a question rather than a statement looking at her two best friends. "Of course," Stu says lifting Scarlett of the floor and spinning her around.

she laughs loudly "Okay, Okay put me down" she says Stu sets her to the ground as everyone started walking in from lunch. "I gotta go find Sid. See you after school" Scarlett yells before running towards her locker. 

"God she's beautiful." Stu says to his best friend. Billy looks at Stu and then at Scarlett who was walking away she didn't take a look back even though she knew they were looking its as she could feel their touch on her body. 

"I know..." Billy pauses for a moment "Stu we have to figure out a way to keep her out of this whole thing." Stu looks at Billy shaking his head "She doesn't deserve it." Billy was doubting their decision on going through in the first place. 

"Maybe we shouldn't do it at all." Stu says Billy looks at him he wanted to agree but he couldn't "We're already in to deep." Billy says 

Scarlett had already turned the corner, but people could see her. running back to take one last look. She stands down the hall looking at the two of them. They look down the hall one last time and see her and her big smile. 

They wave at her with a smile on their face's a real smile before turning the other way to walk to their class.

Scarlett was sitting at her locker waiting for Sidney and Tatum to get back from class. Their classes were on the opposite side of the school, so it was either Scarlett Sidney or Tatum waiting for the other two. 

Scarlett spots them down the hall and stands there with her arms crossed leaning up against the lockers. "You know we really need to get a better system because I'm really tired of standing here by myself." Scarlett says. 

"Just go get your two bodyguards and you won't be standing here by yourself." Scarlett was confused on who she was talking about and made a face. The face that only Tatum Riley and Sidney knew.
