Chapter 2: Entrance Exams.

Haru was shocked by the sudden appearance of the youngest Todoroki child, but Sora said, "Oh hey, Shoto. Where's Natsuo?"

Shoto: I'm by myself. I've come to see Hinata and Maya.
Hinata: Shoto? Buddy, it's been so long! Give me a hug!
Shoto: Can you give me one?

Hinata runs and gives his friend a hug while Maya says, "Shoto? I thought you'd forgotten us!"
Shoto: How could I forget you? Natsuo at least tells me how you're all doing. But I was wondering if they'd be free for a jog.
Hinata: Let's go!
Maya: Yeah!

Shoto: I need to get back by 6 though.
Hinata: 5:30 pm? I guess we can go out that long. Come on.

Hinata, Maya, and Shoto jog around the neighborhood and soon, they take a break and discuss about their school lives.

Maya: I don't know why, but I'm popular while my brother isn't. But he does things in PE and quirk classes like they're his nature.
Hinata: We wish we could feel what it's like to be in each other's place, but we at least give tastes of what that's like.
Shoto: For me, I get a lot of girls who want to go on a date. So I grab a calendar and have them step on it.

Hinata facepalms as him and Maya try to explain what he's like.
Maya: Girls ask you out because they have a crush on you.
Shoto: It's when someone likes someone, but it's like friendship, right?

Hinata and Maya facepalm again as Shoto gets worried.

Shoto: It's not like that?
Hinata: This is the what, 37th time? Never mind. I'll buy us ice pops.
Shoto: No. I'll get us some.
He creates an ice pillar and says, "Here."
Hinata: Not those, Shoto! The convenience store!

Shoto: I'll buy it. I still have my dad's card.
Maya: Dang, Shoto! You're quite a baddie!
Shoto: I'm no villain. After all. I'm headed off to UA. By recommendations.
Hinata: I'd go there too but Akari-
Shoto: Bullied you again?
Hinata: Yep, and they recommend I don't take recommendations for my admission.
Shoto: Oh, sorry. But, I know you can make it in.
Hinata: Yeah.

They buy ice pops and go back home.
Shoto: Meet up at the gym?
Hinata: Or library. We need to study for the entrance exam.
Maya: You guys have one too.
Shoto: Ok. First, we gotta make it so my father thinks I don't care about you guys.
Hinata: 3, 2, 1. Go.

Endeavor looks out to see the twins and Shoto argue.
Shoto: Leave. I don't know you people.
Hinata: Shoto! I'm your oldest buddy!
Maya: We are! Can't you remember us?
Shoto: Don't remember.
Endeavor comes out wondering why his son was arguing with 2 people.
Shoto: Oh hello, dad.
Endeavor: Son? Who are these 2 people?
Shoto: I don't know.

Hinata places his hand on Shoto's shoulder, but the latter bats his hand away.
Shoto: Go away.
Hinata: So I guess all those ice pops meant nothing?
Both twins leave and Endeavor talks to his son.

Endeavor: Those were the Fujimoto twins from next door. You understood to cut them out of your life. Good.
Shoto: Who were they again?
Endeavor: Perfect. Let's go eat.
Fuyumi: Dinner time! It's your favorite! Cold soba!

Shoto walks to the table and texts to Hinata.
Shoto: (I'm truly sorry for batting your hand away. I needed to make it look like I didn't care about you.)
Hinata: (I understand. Tomorrow at the gym and library?)
Shoto: (You got it.)

In 10 months, the 3 of them had to pass. First, they had to get a gist of the English portion. Maya and Shoto were able to tutor Hinata in it enough for him to get some understanding.
