Four years had passed, and we finally had enough money to go to Antartica. Me and Zero had worked our butts off, getting enough money to let us.
Now we were standing at Skarlet's grave. Fixing to leave on our trip, using Zero's car. Yes, his car wasn't that great, but it will do.
"Hey, um, today is your birthday. Happy fourteenth birthday." He said.
"Thanks Zero." I mummered.
We walked to his car, and got in, then drove home. While we drove Zero reached over. I looked down at his hand, it was beside mind. I reached over and took it. He smiled, and I looked out the window.
"We'll got through this together." He mummered.
"Yah, I guess we will." I whispered.
At the house we grabbed our bags, and got back in the truck. Just as we were about to leave we heard a meow. I looked down to see Kitty rubbing against the tire.
"Come on Kitty." I said, picking him up and setting him in my lap.
Zero threw our things in the trunk and got in.
"Ready to go?" He asked
"Yep." I said.
"Merow"
He nooded and we buckled up, then he started the engine.
"Let's go then."
