I want you to take a moment, and think about all the things that define your life. All the people you love. Your job. Your coworkers. Your home. And now imagine if one day, in a flash, all of that vanished. Would you simply accept your new life and continue on? Or would you do whatever it takes to get back what was taken from you? Because I can assure you, I will get everything that was taken from me.

Jitters at night

Iris was at Jitters looking at return labels that she had ordered for herself and Eddie. She was still worried about Eddie and wondered if he was still alive. Just then, Barry and Mushroom walked into Jitters and sat down next to Iris. Mushroom had make-up on and colored contacts in so they looked normal.

“Hey” Barry greeted as he sat down. There wasn’t another seat so he just pulled Mushroom on his lap.

“Hey” Iris greeted the two. Smiling for a second when she sees Mushroom glaring at Barry.

“What’s all this?”

“Return labels for Eddie and me” Iris hands one to Mushroom who takes a closer look at it.

“There seems like a lot here.” Mushroom comments and sets the open one on the stack of 3 packaged ons.

“I ordered 200 to start but this afternoon, 2,000 arrived. I guess I ordered wrong.” She lets out a brief chuckle. “I have so many now.”

“Iris, we’re gonna find Eddie.” Barry promises.

“How? You’ve searched everywhere. More than once. And you haven’t found anything.”

Barry and Mushroom looked at each other before looking back at Iris. She sighs.

“I’m sorry. I’m not mad at you Barry.” She apologies. “It’s just-”

“You miss him, right?” Barry interrupts.

“Yeah, I do.” Iris nods.

“Look” Barry starts and grabs Iris’ hand. “Wells took…” He glances at Mushroom who looks down. “Our mom from us. I won’t let him take someone from you too.”

The 3 stay silent for a bit till Barry’s phone goes off. He grabs his phone and checks the text.

“It’s Cisco. We gotta go.” Barry informs.

“Yeah go.” Iris says.

Mushroom gets up and quickly gives Iris a hug as Barry gets up. He grabs Mushroom and leads her out.

“When are you going to stop taking me almost everywhere?’ Mushroom asks.

“When I stop being protective of you.” Barry answers.

S.T. A. R Labs

Barry, Mushroom, Joe, Caitlin, Cisco, and Project 32 were all gathered in the cortex. Project 32 was wearing a normal shirt and pants but not shoes. She moved in with Caitlin after the sewer incident. Since she was intelligent, she managed to pick up how to walk and dress more human from Caitlin. She still prefers talking telepathically but she’s working on her speech. Cisco bought out Wells' wheelchair that he had started to mess with and found something underneath it. It was the same type of tech that is inside Gideon; that thing has enough juice to power all of Central City.

“What do you think Wells was using it for?” Barry asked.

“I think this thing is some kind of battery.” Cisco stated.

“Battery? As in, Wells was using it to power himself?” Mushroom asked.

“Yep. To gain more speed. And that’s why he’s so much faster than Barry.”
