Father

Held her in your hands,
Gracefully feeling blessed,
Speechless you went,
Whispered into her ears.
"I love you"you said,
Only to leave her there,
She grew and grew,
Longed and longed for you,
But your negligence,
And your lack of acceptance,
Towards her, broke her.
How does she look back at you?
Here and there her soul is caged,
Heart full of rage.
Would she ever call you father?
Your only daughter...?
(Inaudible she leaves)
