I damn near ran out the house after I was done eating. This lady kept tryna show me what that nigga looked like and I kept saying I ain't wanna see the picture every time, too. She was acting like her job depended on me finding that man attractive.

She just was not getting it.

Even if I did think he was cute that going out on a date shit was just a whole new territory and I wasn't ready for it. In public? Hell nah.

The closet thing me and Gavin came to a date was pizza and smoking at my crib. That was good enough for me because fuck did we need to go out for? So other people could stare at us? Thanks, but no thanks.

Tyler had the windows rolled down, looking at me all confused, "Damn, nigga. Is you being chased?" He asked with wide eyes.

I slammed the car door, "Nah, Denise just crazy as hell."

"Denise?" He leaned forward to look around me. My mom was standing in the door frame with her arms crossed, "You mean ya mom?"

"You call her 'Ms. Denise', right? Just Drive." I hate when niggas ask dumb questions. I waved at my mom and she gone put her middle finger up at me. See, no mother should act like this.

"I know Ms. Denise ain't just—"

"She did. Bro," I cut him off. "I just told you that the lady is crazy!" I don't know when people would start to believe me.

I turned the radio down,  "You know we going to practice on Saturday, not today, right?"

"So? We can only talk when it's about football?"

"That response was real sassy."

His mouth dropped open, "No the fuck it wasn't."

I shook my head. Now I see why the girls be saying it's a sassy nigga epidemic out here. I'm looking at one right now.

"Yes, it was because I ain't even say that."

"Anyway." He said, "I  just needed help with this thing."

"And what thing is that?"

"I...girl...move..." He was mumbling under his breath and I only caught like every other word.

"Huh?"

He cleared his throat, "I said I gotta help this girl move."

I know damn well he ain't just say we gotta help his girl move. Move as in out her fucking house?
Move as in moving heavy ass furniture into a truck and then moving that same heavy ass furniture off a truck. Probably up some stairs, too, and through narrow ass door frames.

He had me fucked up.

"Tyler, take me back home. It's too hot for this shit.

He bust out laughing, telling me no. Oh, he thought this shit was a game? I'll hop out right now, bitch, I know how to fuck and roll.

"Ciani just got a new place and I can't do it by myself."

I groaned, sinking lower in my seat. First Dre and his bitch, now this Nigga wanna drag me out my bed to go see Ciani. I'm surrounded by relationships, on God I am.

"Why you taking me when you got a whole brother? Or she ain't got none? And you ain't even ask me!" Not that it mattered, because even if he would've asked me to help, I still would've told his ass no.

"No, she don't." Tyler said matter-of-factly, "And you the first person that came to mind. My brother couldn't lift a fucking couch pillow, let alone a couch."

"Nigga!" I shouted, "I gotta move a whole couch!?" Oh my God.

Tyler nodded with a smirk and said, "Plus a mattress,  two dressers, and some mo' shit."

He pushing it, "I hate you so much, Drake." Using his last name so he knew this hate was real.

"It ain't like we gotta pack anything. She already got the Uhaul and shit, we just gotta unload it and return it."

I crossed my arms, "And what the fuck is in it for me?" If he thought I was doing this out the kindness of my heart, he was sadly mistaken.

"Weed and food after?" Tyler smiled.

"Damn that's it? You make me sound so easy. I can buy my own weed."

Tyler gone cock his head to side and just looked at me blankly as fuck, "Have you met yourself, Eric? I ain't never seen you say no to smoke out. Plus I got the free."

"Touché." Those were my two favorite things, "Is ya brother gone be there?"

"You mean is my brother gone be at my house, where we both live?" Tyler gave me a funny look, "I don't know. Why?"

Not really tryna reveal what I was really feeling, "Just asking." I shrugged, pulling out my phone.

I went to my messages and my finger lingered over Gavin's thread.

He still hasn't replied. It's aight, though.

It was mad early and I did send it late, so he probably still sleep and just ain't see it, yet. Sinjae sent me a good morning text and I never replied so I made sure I did now.

"Ayo." I chuckled to myself. Damn, she sending me good morning texts and shit? That's how you know I got good ass dick because girls just don't do that for anybody, you feel me.

She replied instantly asking me what I was doing.

Nothing. Bout to help my friend move.

Mad weird. I'm helping my bitch move today too 😂

What friend?

All nosey asl. You dont know her 🙄

Girl just answer the question damn

Nooooo myb

I sucked my teeth, not even bothering to reply.
Like I guess we ain't all go to the same school together for four years or something. Even though I ain't see Sinjae much in school, I saw a lot of Ciani and she was never with her. But coincidences were never something I believed in for real.

I mean, sure two girls could really be moving on the same day, but there's a feeling telling me we both talking about the same girl. I'll just see when we get there since for some reason Sinjae was being mad difficult.

I hope she is, though. I think even if we hadn't fucked on the first night I still would be texting her. Not even on no horny type shit, she just really a cool ass girl.
