A young Mayahni was sleeping in her bed before she was woken up by a noise.
Getting scared and being curious. She went to see what it was.
It was her mother.
Trying to leave.
Mayahni's dad wasn't the best to them.He would beat on Mayahni's mother for looking the wrong way.
Or for drinking too loud.
Even for going somewhere when she didn't ask him.
He'd beat Mayahni for anything. Spilling milk. Wasting water. Etc.
"mommy" A soft tone filled the room as tears clouded Jes eyes
"I love you baby, I just cant do it" Jes spoke
"Can i come" A young Mayahni

"Yahns i love you baby but you cant" Jes said wiping tears off Mayahnis face.
"Mommy please" Mayahni said pleading.
Mayahni was no dumb 4 year old.
She knew she wasn't supposed to be treated like this.
Jes couldn't leave her baby. But she didn't or couldn't deal with the abuse another second.
"Mayahni ill be back. I promise. Pinky promise." Jes said locking her pinky around Mayahni's small finger
"Mommys going to get help." She said with tears clouding her vision.
"I love you mayahns" Jes spoke call her by her nickname.
"I love you too mommy"
