If you follow my stories or checked my written stories then you know I attempted to write an MLB fanfic but, I ended up getting distracted by other things. I also didn't really know what I wanted to do with it. So, I'm re-writing the first arc, The Trial for the Stars. Which covers Marinette's enrollment in another school for talented kids. And her trial to be granted great power by the stars above.
The story takes place in season 3 but, a lot of things have been changed/ altered because I don't like canon sometimes. Here are the changes:
Marinette is not Ladybug because when she by the time she encountered Master Fu he had already given it to someone else.
Lila has been in the class since season 1.
The current Ladybug is named Boella (hope you get the reference 😉)
Cat Noir isn't in love with Ladybug as he is cannon.
All of the Miraculous has been used by the classmates at least once.
Marinette and Cat Noir are pretty good friends.
Marinette realized she was being an obsessive stalker and stopped doing that before deciding she liked Adrian more as a friend.
Lila has turned most of the class except Nino, Adrian, Chloé, Sabrina, and Nathaniel against Mari.
Alya and Mari's friendship is a little strained because of this.
Dearest Family has already happened, and Zoe is going to be introduced soon.
Season 3 finally never happened and Chloé still in her redemption arc. She has started to realize that her Mother isn't as amazing as she thought she was.
Chloé and Mari get along well now.
Master Fu told Cat Noir about the Miracle Box and it was handed over to him.
Nathalie is annoyed with Gabriel because of his treatment of Adrien.
Nathalie is the brain behind the operation, suggesting new ways and clever ways to use their miraculous to Gabriel. Because he sucks at thinking outside of the box.
And when I think of more I will add them.
Some designs will be changed, causal or hero. I also changed up the powers of some of the Miraculous. I feel like they have an ability they can use without using their special ability so, I gave them an ability they can use without the risk of de-transforming. In some cases, it's just a slightly watered-down version of their special move.
Ladybug: Grants the power of creation. Users can create almost anything they want. They can't create life or living things using their powers but, they can train to be able to create more than one ability at once. As the Ladybug that represents creation, they can't destroy things. Their lucky charm can summon an item that will be useful for their situation and with their increased intelligence they can easily find out what to use it for. As their power gets stronger they can summon more than one object.
Cat: Grants the power of destruction. Users can destroy inanimate objects and attacks. They have to be careful the stronger they get because their destructive powers become more uncontrollable as the limits on them disappear. They can destroy living things once their limit disappears. Their cataclysm is the only thing capable of destroying an object under the effect of another miraculous user and damaging a miraculous one. When they get stronger the cataclysm would be able to destroy the akuma along with the akumatized object.
Butterfly: Grants the power Transmission. Users can summon little butterflies that can transfer any power they want to an inanimate object. When given to someone they can temporarily give the wearer the power in the object. But, once it runs out of power it will revert back to an ordinary object. As they get stronger they can be able to create more powered objects and will be able to sense where the object is at any time. When using Emanation their butterflies are capable of infecting a person. Once the object is infected the user can grant them almost any power they want until either the object is destroyed or the user takes away the power. As they get stronger they can control the person completely and infect a dozen people at the same time.
