Chapter 9: A regret

Izuku's POV

It's...Him? He's been mine and Shoto's childhood friend all this time? How did I forget? How could I have forgot?
I stood up and went to my door to open it, but hesitated. 'He'll probably just ignore me if I try to talk to him' I thought.

Instead, I walked back to my desk, and sat down. Did that pomeranian also know that I am his childhood friend and did he just pretend that he wasn't, or had he forgotten like I did?

I sighed, why did I even think of this, it was 1am and I was sitting here trying to find something to do, why don't I just go to bed like a normal person would've done three hours ago? I figured that I would at least try to fall asleep.

Time skip: five hours later

It had tone by five hours, the clock was 6am and I had gotten 0 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds of sleep. 'I'm lucky that it's not school, at least I can sleep later in the afternoon or something' I thought. I sat up, went to the kitchen and got myself a glass of water, then I heard footsteps behind me.

"Who is it that's behind me?" I asked the person behind me, pouring the water into my cup. I didn't get an answer. I turned around and saw Uraraka. "H-Hey Deku.." she said. "Hi, what's up?"

"I...I just wanted to say that...I-I like you, like. I like like you..." My eyes widened. "Sorry, but I don't feel the same way." I said, I was surprised. by how rude I sounded. Uraraka just stood there like she was frozen. That's when Shoto came to the kitchen.

"Goodmorning Sho" I said, I knew he wasn't going to answer, but I said it anyway. "Morning." He said. My widened, he was finally talking to me! "You're-"

"Goodmorning *kero*" Tsuyu said. "Goodmorning Tsu." I said back. And then the day continued. However, Shoto didn't talk to me much, he just said "morning" and then Barely anything more. I told this to Touya on the phone, but didn't say his name since I didn't want to give away his name to the others, especially Shoto since his room was right beside mine.

Touya's POV

"He said 'Morning'?" I asked on the phone. "Yeah! He didn't say much more than that to me but I'm happy that he talked to me!" Izuku said. "That's great, do you think he'll begin talking to you more?" I asked. It was silent on the phone for a while. "No, I don't think so, since we had a fight about..You know...But that's-"

"You can tell him." I could tell he was shocked. "But-" "It's fine, if that could make him talk to you then do that." I said. "But, what if he asks to meet you? I'm sure he would.." he asked. "...Tell him that he could come next night, not this night."

That was basically the phone call, I turned off my phone and as I did Toga had came into my room. "Who were you talking with?~" She said. "Someone you don't need to know about." I said. "Why can't I know?~" She said with a disappointed tone.

"Because if I tell you, you won't be able to keep it a secret to everyone else in the league exept Tomura." I said. "Shiggy knows? Why did you tell him and not me!" She complained.

"You know why, stop complaining Toga." I said. "Hmph." Toga walked away.

Izuku's POV

I knocked on the door and when I heard Shoto say come in I opened the door. He knew it was me cause he didn't say who it was, which he did with everyone else if they know would knock on his door.

"What do you want?" He asked. "It's about that fight we had..." Shoto sat up from his bed. "What about it?" I tried to figure out how I could say it. "About that person that I always meet up with..." Shotot looked at me. "Continue."
