Fuyumi's POV

Before I knew it, I had arrived at the hospital and was standing in front of a lady.

"Who are you here to visit?" The lady asked. "Hina Himari," I said. The lady looked at the paper she was holding, before looking back at me.

"She's in room 83, you have an hour maximum." The lady said. I nodded and made my way to Hina's room.

I took a deep breath, I hadn't visited her in a week or so. I pushed the handle down and opened the door, revealing Hina sitting and looking out the window.

She looked at me and smiled. "Umi, it's so good to see you," She said and smiled. I tried my best to smile and hugged her, however, she only hugged me with one arm.

Seems like I got an answer to that question quick. "I can barely lift my arm anymore, sorry." She said. "No no, It's fine. It wasn't your fault," I said.

It went silent for a moment. "Can I look at it?" I asked. She nodded. "Yeah, but please, be careful." Hina said as she took the bandage off. "Why do you have a bandage?" I asked.

"I just felt like I was more confident with something covering it. That's why," Hina said. I nodded. "Okay." I answered.

And to tell you I was completely shocked by seeing her arm. "Hina..." I couldn't get any words out of my mouth. She looked down.

"It's bad, I know..." She said, looking sad. "Umi?" She said. I looked at her. "Yeah?"

"I'm going to die, am I not?" She asked. I couldn't lie to her, she was my best friend after all. So I just nodded, unable to speak any kind of words right now.

"If they don't find any possible cure for it." I added, trying to find some hope in this sadness. She nodded. "I think you should go now, your family might be worried for you." She said. I sighed.

As much as I hated to admit it, she was probably right. It was soon an hour since I had told them I was going to a friend.

I hugged her. "Bye Hina, I'll visit as soon as possible." I said. "Bye Umi. I'm waiting for you then." She said and smiled. I smiled too before I left her in her room.

I didn't really like the walk back home. It was cloudy, almost on the verge of raining, and I just felt sad honestly.

I heard footsteps behind me and a voice that came with it, a familiar one with that.

"Why are you out here in the middle of the night, hm?" They said. I turned around to face the Nr. 5 Prohero Mirko.

"It's already twelve? I thought I went to Hina at five?" I said to myself, a bit louder than I expected. "Well, it's 23:49 to be exact, but yeah." She said.

"Oh, right. To answer your question a few seconds ago, I was just about to walk home from visiting my friend in the hospital," I said. "Really?" She said, almost as if she didn't believe me.

"Yeah, why? Do you think I'm lying?" I asked, trying not to be rude. "No, it's just that you've been walking in the complete opposite direction of where you live for quite a while." Mirko said.

I looked at her confused. What did she mean? I looked around and realised that she was right. I knew where I was, but I was still in the opposite direction from my home. And I had to walk back home by foot, which meant for about a thirty minute walk.

I sighed and put my hand over my face as I let out a whine. "Aw, and I have to walk home too.. Great job Fuyumi." I said to myself.

"I can walk with you if you want. You know, around these areas. There are many drug dealers, robbers, villains, etc. You need to be careful." Mirko said. I looked at her.
