At the age of 18, Y/n Y/l/n was on the precipice of adulthood, poised to step into a world of magic, adventure, and self-discovery.

Long, flowing brown hair framed her face, cascading in gentle waves down her back. It was the shade of rich chestnut, with occasional glints of lighter hues when touched by sunlight. Her hair added to her natural elegance, falling gracefully around her shoulders.

In the bustling bustle of Platform 9¾, where parents hugged their children goodbye and owls hooted from their cages, Y/n Y/l/n stood on the threshold of a new chapter. A quiet sense of anticipation swirled around her as she clutched her ticket to Hogwarts, her emerald eyes shimmering with a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. She was about to embark on a journey that promised fresh beginnings and perhaps a chance to leave behind the shadows of her past.

As the platform buzzed with excitement, Y/n took a deep breath, ready to step onto the train and embrace the unknown.

Inside the Hogwarts Express, as it moved toward the famous castle, Y/n found herself alone in a train compartment. She watched the passing countryside through the window, feeling a mix of excitement and worry.

Suddenly, her world shook as the train jolted unexpectedly. Her books, parchments and quills tumbled to the floor, creating a mess.

A voice, smooth and tinged with curiosity, pierced through her embarrassment.

"Well, that was quite an entrance."

Y/n looked up to see a tall, dark-haired Slytherin helping her pick up her things, a friendly smile on his face.

"I'm so sorry," Y/n stuttered, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "I didn't mean to make such a mess."

He laughed, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "No problem at all. It happens to everyone. Are you new here? I haven't seen you before."

Y/n nodded, grateful for his friendly approach. "Yes, I am. I transferred for my eighth year."

"What's your name ?" He asked.

"I'm y/n, y/n y/l/n" she smiled. "and you are ?"

"Lorenzo Berkshire, but just call me Enzo" he said picking up her stuff.

"Nice to meet you then Enzo" she chuckled

Enzo's smile widened. "Well y/n, you picked a good time. Our compartment is just down the hall, and we'd love to have you."

Y/n followed him to a compartment filled with Slytherin students.

As Y/n stepped into the compartment, she was met with a warm welcome.

"This is y/n y/l/n, she just transferred from...?" He looks at y/n waiting for her to answer.

"From Beauxbâtons". Y/n quickly answered.

The first to greet her was Pansy Parkinson, a friendly and vivacious girl who seemed genuinely happy to see another girl join their group.

Next to introduce himself was Theodore Nott, or as he liked to be called, Theo.

He had this real smooth way about him, always mingling and flirting with different girls.

"Hey gorgeous, welcome to the best group Hogwarts has to offer," Theo said with a smirk on his face.

Y/n blushed slightly at his comment.

Just then, Draco Malfoy leaned in, flashing a charming smile at Y/n. "Theo's right, you know. But I have to say, you've just made it even better by joining us. Draco Malfoy, at your service." His eyes held a hint of mischief as he continued to flirt.

Blaise Zabini, breaking his silence with a sly grin, teased, "Hey, you two, how about we let Y/n breathe for a moment? I'm Blaise Zabini, it's nice to meet you y/n."

"Thanks Blaise" she chuckled.

Then there was Tom Riddle, he didn't seem as friendly as the rest of the group.

Tom, his tone dripping with sarcasm, remarked, "Oh, fantastic, another one. Just what Hogwarts needed, the name's Tom Riddle."

Y/n laughed and replied, "Well, I've heard Hogwarts can use a bit more fun and excitement."

She found Tom's snarky comment surprisingly funny. She could tell there was more to him than just his initial sarcasm.

Finally, there was this one boy, who hadn't looked at y/n since she arrived, gazing out of the window.

Draco nudged him with his elbow.

"Fuck you Malfoy, I was busy" he snarled at Draco. "Mattheo Riddle" he said with a dry tone.

"Nice to meet you too Mattheo" y/n said sarcasticly.

Mattheo rolled his eyes, his gaze lingered on Y/n for a moment before he continued to look through the window.

"Don't worry about him love, Riddle here just woke up on the wrong side of the bed" Pansy said reassuringly.

"So, do you know which house you're in yet?" Theo asked.

Y/n shook her head, her expression uncertain. "Not yet. I suppose I'll find out soon."

"Don't worry, Y/n. No matter which house you end up in, you've got friends here in Slytherin." Enzo smiled.

"Speak for yourself" Tom snarled.

"Don't mind Tom, Y/n. He's got a heart somewhere buried deep beneath all that sarcasm." Theo said.

Tom rolled his eyes at Theo's comment while the others laughed.

As the conversation continued, Y/n felt increasingly at ease in the compartment, despite the varying personalities of her new Slytherin friends.

As the day turned into evening, the train gradually slowed down, and the students hushed with anticipation. They were getting close to Hogwarts.

With a gentle hiss of the brakes, the Hogwarts Express came to a stop at Hogsmeade Station. The group gathered their things and made their way to the exit.

As Y/n stepped off the train and onto the platform, she noticed a tall, burly figure approaching. It was none other than Hagrid, y/n had heard a lot about him.

"Yer must be the new student, Y/n," Hagrid boomed in his deep, friendly voice. "Welcome to Hogwarts!"

"That's me" y/n answered with a nervous laugh.

"Come right this way. We will get you sorted into your house, and then you can go and find your dormitory to unpack." Professor McGonagall said with a warm tone.

Y/n nodded, her heart pounding with anticipation as she followed behind them toward the castle. She couldn't help but steal a final glance at her Slytherin friends, who waved and called out their goodbyes.
