We were inside a hidden facility with a work in progress spaceship nearby, scientists inspecting a worker drone, who was in a cowboy outfit.

The same human from Y/N's dream was seen sighing, rubbing his temples. He looked at the cowboy drone, who was swinging his legs as it waits around.

"Y/N, are you sure you wish to do this? This procedure could be very risky...and quite idiotic." A scientist walked up to a human, concerned for his sanity.

"I was taught to be etiquette, not smart...Of course I am ready." Y/N sighed, getting up from his chair. He walked up to the cowboy drone, placing his hand on top of his head as he gives one final look at the drone.

"Don't worry bud...this'll be worth it. After all those times together, we can live as one if this goes well." The human reassured to the drone, who simply gave a thumbs-up.

A scientist walked up to him, lifting the back of Y/N's hair, before stapling a chip on the back of his neck, making him slightly flinch. The same procedure happened on the drone also, but the worker drone showed no reaction. They deactivated the drone just for this one time, and one of the scientists unveiled the glass tube, opening it just for Y/N.

"Alright...before you head inside...any last words if this doesn't seem to go well?" The scientist asked.

"...I'll be waiting for you." Y/N simply chuckled at his dumb words, before heading inside the tube.

Liquid started to fill up, Y/N's closing his eyes as he starts to float inside. The screen nearby shows the stats and diagnostics between of the drone and human. Y/N was now unconscious...but the drone wasn't.

The worker drone awakened automatically, moving his legs and hands slowly. It looked up, staring at the scientists.

"...My name is Y/N L/N...and today marks a new stepping point...as a cowboy." The worker drone said, the scientists clapping for the success.

"Well now...might as well turn the system off for now, we need to see if you're able to leave the form." The scientist said, the worker drone giving a thumbs up.

They turned the tube off, the liquid immediately going down the drain of the tube. Y/N's human body awakened, while the drone deactivated.

The glass tube opened up, as Y/N slowly stepped out.

"Congratulations Y/N. You'll make a great employee at JcJenson, along with your drone." The scientist shook Y/N's hand.

"However, this could lead to interesting results in the future..." The scientist said.

"And why's that?" Y/N raised an eyebrow.

"Well, if you potentially die from any cause, we could be able to transport you to the drone...reviving you in a different body." The scientist hypothesized. The cowboy drone was now reactivated, who immediately hopped off and stood by Y/N's side.

"Well, that's good!" Y/N exclaimed.

"And if it could...he could potentially control you." The scientist added, making Y/N and his worker drone stare at each other.

"...Are you going to hack me?" Y/N asked the drone, who gave a shrug.

"You better at least do it for a good cause I suppose." Y/N said.

"Well, once we get this ship up and going, we'll send the drone up to Copper-9. While you stay down here on Earth, you could check up on it as it patrols around. Any questions?" The scientist asked.
