epilogue.   letters

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

WITH A GROAN, the water fairy awoke from her slumber after a rather long eventful couple days. She was tired plus her back ached. Terra was right about the flying.

She walked on over to the coffee maker as furrowed her brows when she was letters and their names written onto them.

First, she checked Bloom's room, which the redhead was still fast asleep in. Then she checked the room she was previously in and that's when she realized, Aurora was gone.

She walked back over to the letters. There was seven in total. She picked the first one up that read, Princess, which was clearly meant for Stella.

Picking up the one that said, water woman, she ripped the envelope open and unfolded the letter.

dear water woman,

by the time your reading this, I'll be gone. I have my reasons for going through the portal and the main one is that I'm heating up. I think you can connect the dots.

I'm not gonna lie, I didn't like you very much at first but you've grown on me. You met me when I was a very angry ice fairy so I kinda hated everyone. But you've been one of the important people in my life and I thank you for it.

I hope to see you in my next life.

love of love, aurora

A tear fell on the letter, smudging the writing slightly. She shook her head, she couldn't believe that Aurora was gone. She was dying. She was in pain. And none of them noticed.

Walking over to the group, a sob left her mouth. "Guys, wake up!" Exclaimed the girl as they all groaned slightly. "I mean it! Aurora gone!"

Stella practically jumped out of her skin as she felt around for the presence of her girlfriends body, but it wasn't their. She was gone. Aurora went.

"She... s-he's actually," Her voice broke a bit as Aisha walked over to comfort her. "Gone?"

"W-why would she not tell us?" Terra questioned with a cry as Flora wrapped her arms around her. "Why?"

"I'm so sorry, Stella," Aisha walked on over to the table and pulled the one for the blonde. "Here, she wrote letters."

The raven haired girl passed the letters around to each winx girl as they all looked down at it with guilt. Their friend, their roommate, their Aurora wasn't coming back.

Stella couldn't bare to open her letter up. It would make it all real. Real in the sense that it wasn't just her girlfriend had gone out, real in the sense she would never come back. All she did was stare down at it. Blankly.
