Chapter 10

The next morning, Naruto woke up early like always. He start his routine first with stretching his muscle after waking up, after that wash his face and teeth, changing his cloth and do his hair. "Morning, Kurama!" he greet his tenant partner softly.

"Morning, Kit!" replied the fox hoarsely and goes back to sleep, which Naruto just let him and walked himself out from his room to downstairs to prepare breakfast for him and the two Uchiha that were hanging around in his home.

He hope the two keep their word and didn't stay up to late watching anime until the late of night. But it's look his hope was hopeless when he saw the two sprangled at the living room, having passed out and slept like a lock. Thought, he was relief to see the TV already off and the table was clean from dirty plate and glass. He spotted them on side of the sink, having already washed.

Huffing to himself, he goes to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the three of them and he also need to keep an eye of the time so he can set what time he needed to wake up Sasuke.

Time skip...

Sasuke were yawning sleepily while walking to the academy side by side with Naruto. "Did I tell you don't stay up late? What time you slept last night?" scolded Naruto lightly.

The raven rubbed his drowsy eyes, "At twelve, maybe? I'd forgot to look at the clock before I fell asleep." He responded and yawned for the second time. The blond sighed, "At least I'm relieved to know that you only stick with one series. So, did you watched all of the episode?" asked him, starting a casual conversation.

Sasuke puffed his cheeks sulkily, "I didn't, I almost at episode 8 and Shisui had to turned off the TV when he realise it getting late." grunt him in annoyance. Naruto snorted, "At least he do the good job on having you sleep." he remark lightly making the Uchiha grunt more than before.

They arrive at the academy together and were immediately being surrounded by their fangirls. And the both of them grunt with annoyance. Thought, they both delighted to have each other support as a friend.

For three days, Naruto and Sasuke get along well and always saw them together. Either hang out at school with Shikamaru, Choji and Hinata, or having a spar or training together or just stay inside at Naruto's home and laze around while watching another anime series.

When Itachi came back to collect his brother, Sasuke begrudgingly follow his brother despite don't want too. He had so much fun for three days spending time with the blond jinchuriki and he also make friends with the other three and be himself for once, so of course the young Uchiha heir was upset and thinking this will be the last of his happiness.

But Naruto show him that his happiness will last forever when the blond treated him the same even after he left from the blond care. The Uzumaki even invited him to hang out at his house if he wanted too.

Honestly, Sasuke was delighted to have Naruto as his friend and also grateful. Because he can still enjoy his childhood life with colour and joy while he can. Since he knew how the life of shinobi be like when you become one. There would be a lot of training and mission that they won't be having a time to spend time with friends.

So, Sasuke would take every opportunity he could to spend time with his friend and be a child from time to time.

A years later...

A years had passed, Naruto is nine year old now. For a year, nothing change much. He and his friends were still sharing the same class and still as close as ever, he still kept his grade as a top student. His training goes wonderfully like always and he had added a few things with it, now his strength already in the level of mid chunin.
