Ten twenty, the night is as cold as water.

The bodies of the two deceased were carefully carried downstairs and sent to the car to be transported back to the city bureau for autopsy and examination by the forensic doctor.

Because no family members of the deceased were found, and because of the urgency of the case, Li Yuejun telephoned the director, Du Changdong, and got approval.

The scene was closed, leaving two police officers to guard the scene, and the rest were all collected. Li Yuejun also returned to the city bureau to Du Changdong to make a report on the case to go.

Under the dimly lit street lamps, not a single figure could be seen on the street, and the windows of the buildings across the street and nearby were all dark except for a very few that were lit up. Because the police tape blocking both sides had not been removed, there was not even a single car, making the whole street seem like a dead zone. A cold wind whistled past the fallen leaves, making the whole environment even more eerie.

Lei stopped sitting on the cold steps in front of the unit, slowly and methodically smoking his Dominican davidoff. just a little bit of hair roots of the bald head in the street lamp flashing green light, smoke along the bridge of his nose eyebrow curls up, as if he has been sitting here, never moved.

Jing Dongren sat next to him, smoking his own Hongtashan.

He always felt that Lei stopped the cigar smelled quite good, but smoked up a thick clean smell of stinking feet.

This is the first time I've seen a cigar in the world.

But at this time, Jing Dongren's face was cold and solemn, his eyebrows were deeply locked, and he also had a preoccupied look.

Red Tashan smoked to the butt, Jing Dongren shook his hand and flicked, the orange-red fireworks in the darkness drew an arc, far down to the sidewalk sparks.

"Fuck! This time this bone is not good to chew ah!" Cursing under his breath, Jing Dongren sighed.

Lei stopped without making a sound, still as unresponsive as a statue, only the cigar in the corner of his mouth flickered red from time to time along with the light smoke that was sometimes thick and sometimes light.

"I knew you'd have nothing to fucking say! Come on, I'm not going to accompany you here to pretend to be mute and drink the cool breeze, I'll go back to the bureau to see if there's any more trouble." Jing Dongren walked toward the police car parked on the side of the road, sat in the car and suddenly poked his head out: "Today you kid is too bullish, I counted to serve you!" Said, straight start the car, in place to a beautiful one hundred and eighty degrees back to the corner, tires rubbing the ground to send out ear-piercing sound, quickly disappeared in the night.

Lei stopped sitting in a lonely darkness, but did not have the slightest uneasiness.

He had long been accustomed to the solitude of being alone, and it was only at such times that he could truly relax.

Trying to enjoy it when it can't be changed, that's how Lei Zhuo has always viewed the matter of loneliness.

A gust of wind with dusty confetti swiftly swept by in front of him, and a kind of disturbing uneasiness flickered in Lei Zhuo's mind, nearly a decade of military service had given him an almost magical intuition of potential danger, though this feeling now was not the kind of danger that came with a great disaster.

"As long as I don't get my head lassoed by the crosshairs of a Type 85 7.62mm sniper rifle it won't be a big problem!" Lei stopped thinking silently, almost amused by his own humor. The strict to the extreme gun control in the country made it unnecessary for him to worry about this, but it was certain that there was a pair of sharp, malicious eyes staring at him not far away!
