CHAPTER 9 : Elvis's Big Break

yes I know what you are thinking Elvis and James never met but for the sake of my story he is in it because I want him in  it because he was a big impact on Elvis. and  also  pier is in the story her and Jimmy have a future  togther & jimmy doesn't die young. 

also the timing for every thing  in this chapter is not like you all know its my version I want for my story.so now  I hope you can enjoy the chapter !! 

since Elvis and I fired the colonel  we been able to get him some more serious roles offers.  on tour he been able to have so much more family time at home and not being gone weeks on end. and just today I just got a call from the JAMES DEAN himself saying he wants to work with Elvis to  try to help him get in a movie he starting in called rebel without a cause. 

I  haven't told Elvis yet because I want to surprise him at dinner tonight. he going to be so happy to be meeting one of his idols he looks up to. I don't how I'm going to get though this day without spoiling it and saying out loud. 

A couple hours later...

 I'm getting ready for dinner by helping Gladys cook + set the table while Elvis can sense something is up...

A little while ago...

I'm hiding in the bathroom while I'm trying to get ready.  but also trying to avoid him as much as I can because I can't keep a poker face around him with out sensing something because he going to know something is up. we can do this just got to keep busy and hope he doesn't noticed. 

spoke to soon..

Hey honey you in there? 

yes! 

what are you doing in here baby? he wrap his hands around me from behind and kiss my cheek and puts  his head on my shoulder smiling at me. honey Every time I seen you today you been trying to avoid me? care to tell me why? 

did I  do something wrong? no Sugar you didn't do anything wrong I just been busy with some  business. 

what business baby?

 you know the same old stuff just some more movies offers nothing you would like no serious roles yet.  guess they don't think I'm a serious actor honey. that not true Elvis maybe they think you want to still do those's type's of movie's. I'm sure the right movie offer will come when you least expected it.  

thank you baby I really need that. I will let you get back to getting ready. love you honey he kiss my cheek and walks out of the bathroom. 

 great Diana keep telling a  white little lie only a couple more hours until I can tell Elvis that one of his favorite idol's wants to work with him.

 Diana honey what have I told you stop with all this serious stuff you call me Momma. I see you becoming the next Presley I sense and see the way my son looks at you he's in love with you. And that's fine with me because I see you as family now and how happy you make him. I see him asking you to marry him very soon. 

Really? 

Yes really honey now lets stop yappying we don't want this supper to get cold. after now we are all siting at the dinner table while I was waiting for the right moment to tell everyone about the offer I gotten. I'm so nervous that I harley touch my food. 

baby you harley touched you food are you ok? 

Ya.. about that there's something I want to tell Yall. today I got a call today from james dean saying he wants to work with Elvis on a upcoming motion picture he starting in. 

JAMES DEAN?!?

yes James dean he also want to meet you sometime before they start filming Elvis.

RING RING RING

I get it!  Elvis hurry and jumped out of his seat so quick nearly falling on the floor.
