Dawn

Don't worry

Dawn got worse during the night, so just to be sure they took her to the hospital. Coming there the doctor told them Dawn had a high fever so it would be a good thing to keep her here for a few nights. They put her in a room with an extra bed so Day and Itt could stay over and be there when she woke up. Day and Itt didn't sleep that night too worried about their little princess.

In the morning, a nurse walked in checking up on Dawn. "Good morning Khun Day and Khun Itt. I am here to see how Dawn is doing. My name is Mon.

Mon turned around, her smile fading as she saw two familiar faces. "You, didn't I see you two yesterday? I'm sorry, let me check on your daughter first." She walked towards Dawn taking the test before she walked out of the room.

Day looked at Dawn. "What a coincidence seeing her here, isn't the world small?" Day muttered.

Itt nodded slowly, not really paying attention to what Day was saying, worried as he was about his daughter.

"Yes the world is small, but she didn't tell us how Dawn was."

The door opened again and Mon walked in with another nurse behind her. I'm sorry Khun Day but I have to take your daughter with me for a few tests. Unfortunately, you can't come because it's in the hospital wing where the families of patients aren't allowed."

Itt looked up from Dawn. "I don't like the thought of letting her go without her parents but if you say that it's the best thing for her....."

Itt let them take her, it's a hospital nothing bad will happen to her, we can trust them. Itt let go of Dawn's hand so Mon and the other nurse could take her.

"We will be back before you know it, Khun Day. Don't worry about your little girl. She is in good hands." Mon smiled softly at Day and walked out pushing the bed Dawn was laying on.

2 hours later.

"Day, don't you think it's strange that they're not back yet? Mon said that it wouldn't be this long but it has been 2 hours and I'm starting to get worried."

Day also had a worried look on his face. "I know Itt. I will call a nurse to ask what's going on, hold on a minute okay."

Day walked out of the room with Itt following him, too anxious to wait. "Excuse me nurse, can you tell me where nurse Mon and my daughter are? She told me that our daughter needed some more tests but that it wouldn't take that long. It has been two hours and my husband and I are getting worried."

The nurse looked up from her screen. "I'm sorry Khun Day but what do you mean? We did all the tests yesterday and it showed that your daughter had food poisoning. That's why she had such a high fever and a stomach ache. We pumped her stomach and she should be fine in a few days. Nurse Mon was supposed to tell you and there is no record of new tests."

Itt felt his face go pale. "You mean that you're not sure where Mon took our daughter? What kind of hospital is this that they can lose a child just like that? Day we have to find her now, who knows what happened to her, maybe someone took her." Itt grabbed Day's hand shaking with anger and fear. "Please, Day we have to find our princess."

"Call security now. I want to know where my daughter is and show me your security footage. I swear if something happened to her I will find that person and make sure they regret being alive." The nurse nodded and called security then she opened the cameras and turned her screen so Day and Itt could see it.

"Look Khun Day, this is the moment Mon took her out but they didn't walk towards the testing wing, they walked the opposite way towards the back entrance." They followed Mon and Dawn and saw them changing from a bed to a wheelchair then they walked out of the building.
